Deliverables:
• Lead the implementation of the annual work plan and programme activities across the portfolio countries and intervention areas.

• Working in close collaboration with Global Leads and MA Support and Development Directors, coordinate country site visits to verify activities on the ground, ensuring efficient and effective work practices of Member Associations and between partners.
• Review all financial reports to ensure they meet the IPPF and donor requirements.
• Review country data reporting and distill information into suitable formats that meet the programme's wider reporting needs.
• Ensure the programme is implemented in line with donor compliance requirements.
• Support the internal steering committee mechanism, detailing areas of progress, risks and concern and providing solutions for action.
• Partner with the Performance Learning and Impact team to implement the programme's result framework.
• Plan stakeholder visits to portfolio countries that showcase the work and achievements of the programme on the ground.
• Contribute relevant insights and support to Global Leads and technical areas as needed.
Expertise:
• Significant experience working in a global health or international development programmes.
• Significant experience in programme management with preferred experience working on SRHR/FP programmes in sub-Saharan Africa.

Peace and SecurityOverview
The Women in Conflict 1325 Fellowship, run by Beyond Borders Scotland and Edinburgh Law School is based around the principles of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 (UNSCR 1325) which “reaffirms the role of women in the prevention and resolution of conflict, peace negotiations, peacebuilding, peacekeeping, humanitarian response and in post-conflict reconstruction, and stresses the importance of their equal participation in all efforts for the promotion of peace and security”.
The WiC 1325 Fellowship Programme aims to:- provide a platform enabling the sharing of experiences in relation to UNSCR 1325 and the global Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) agenda; women’s roles in peace building and conflict resolution; and gender equality;
- facilitate peer to peer learning, providing a safe space for Fellows to learn from each other through sharing experiences, ideas and challenges faced in their different contexts;
- explore the equal and meaningful participation of women in peace building, peace processes, and more widely in society, including identifying challenges and entry points;
- facilitate a network of women engaged in an on-going learning and experience-sharing process, building a sustainable and evolving alumnae community;
- provide guidance on various topics including: mediation; conflict analysis; transitional justice; gender equality; mental health and self-care; and policy advocacy.
The October programme will focus on peacebuilding and women's meaningful participation in peacebuilding processes. The week-long residential programme will explore topics related to peacebuilding such as mediation, self-care, arts as a tool for peace, the gender-climate-conflict nexus, and dialogue methodologies with an emphasis on inclusivity and sustainable conflict resolution.
Beyond Borders Scotland believes that a diverse range of voices and experiences strengthens peacebuilding efforts for everyone and welcomes applications from individuals of all backgrounds. We especially encourage those with accessibility needs to apply.
Programme Format
- The programme will take place in Edinburgh and the Scottish Borders from the 20th October – 25th October 2025 (travel days 19th October and 26th October) and will involve a programme of workshop-style sessions, conversations with mediation experts, and cultural experiences.

Description of Responsibilities/ Scope of Work
The Consultant will be reporting to the Regional Policy Specialist for Ending Violence against Women and will be supported by the Programme Associate for Ending Violence against Women, who will be the point of contact on the contract and payment. The consultant is responsible for the following:
Desk Review and consolidation of available data for Official Development Assistance (ODA) for East and Southern Africa for the 2015-present period, highlighting amounts of funding for EVAWG, funding for women’s machineries and women’s organizations and percentages as it relates to overall assistance and specific sectors.
Desk Review and consolidation of data available through public sources for domestic resource allocations for gender equality and information available related to EVAWG allocations from countries in East and Southern Africa for the 2015-present period.
Desk Review and consolidation of data available for other investments in EVAWG in East and Southern Africa for the 2015-present period (e.g. private sector, initiatives from High-Net Worth Individuals, etc).
Analyze data collected and summarize trends across funding sources, key challenges and promising practices for improving resourcing for EVAWG in the region, proposing entry points and recommendations for addressing challenges identified. Analysis should include references to original data sources.
Packaging of analysis into a slide deck for presentation to a general audience, which includes references to original data sources.

Objective & Role of the Consultancy
Fòs Feminista is seeking a senior-level external evaluator to conduct a midterm evaluation of different elements of the program to promote evidence-based decision making and learning among all stakeholders involved.
In the Sexual and Reproductive Health Program, Fòs Feminista works in alliance with Rios and WEC, and together the three global partners support 140 local organizations across 8 countries to promote social, policy and legal changes to decriminalize abortion and amplify access to abortion care, through advocacy, lobbying, communication campaigns and litigation. This program convenes partners across borders and movements, amplifies innovation, builds capacity and catalyzes feminist change, for the decriminalization of abortion and for dismantling barriers to equitable access to safe, quality, and legal abortion, particularly self-care.Scope of WorkThe purpose or intended use of the midterm evaluation is to help Fòs Feminista, Rios and WEC to assess the progress of an on-going intervention, Sexual and Reproductive Health Program, halfway through its implementation to learn from what works well and less well. The objective of this evaluation is to evaluate the effectiveness of the intervention Sexual and Reproductive Health Program and formulate recommendations on how its management team can improve and adjust implementation. The evaluation will be used to inform decisions on how program implementation may be adjusted and improved.
The consultant will be responsible for developing a comprehensive evaluation to:

Functional Responsibilities
The Gender Equality Specialist will be responsible for the following functions:
- Oversee, develop and coordinate the implementation of all gender–related work.

Education/Experience/Language requirements
An advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent proficiency) in gender studies or any other related field is required.

At least 5 years of experience in gender in development projects, with a specific focus on working with women in African rural communities is required.

About the Role

ESWA is recruiting a Policy Officer to strengthen our digital rights work at the EU and national levels. The postholder will support policy advocacy, contribute to research and analysis, and help ensure that the digital rights and needs of sex workers are represented in European and national tech governance processes.
Main Responsibilities
Under the supervision of ESWA’s Senior Programme Officer and Senior Policy Officer, the Policy Officer will:
● Support ESWA’s digital rights policy work, including on EU and national legislation related to online platforms, surveillance, AI, content moderation and policing;

● Monitor relevant digital policy developments and draft updates and alerts for ESWA staff and members;

POSITION REQUIREMENTS & TARGET SKILLS PROFILE:- Minimum of 5 years of frontline fundraising experience, including at least 3 years managing corporate partnership portfolios at a high level.
- Proven track record of securing corporate gifts of $100,000+ and meeting or exceeding fundraising goals.
- Strong understanding of nonprofit fundraising principles, corporate philanthropy, and donor engagement strategies.
- Familiarity with CSR, ESG, and sustainability trends as they relate to corporate partnerships.
- Deep commitment to gender equality, women’s rights, and broader human rights issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling proposals, reports, and partnership pitches.

Gender-based violence (GBV)About SVRI and the SVRI Forum
The Sexual Violence Research Initiative (SVRI) is the largest global network dedicated to advancing research on violence against women and violence against children, with a focus on low- and middle-income countries. Founded in 2003, SVRI is a feminist-centred, women-led organisation that strives to achieve a world free of gender-based violence through evidence-informed practice and prevention.
The SVRI Forum is the field’s largest abstract driven conference dedicated to research, evidence-based programming, and innovation to prevent and respond to violence against women, violence against children, and other forms of gender-based violence. Held over five days, the Forum brings together researchers, practitioners, policymakers, activists, survivors and funders from around the globe for in-depth discussions, knowledge exchange, and networking opportunities.
A global event of this scale requires meticulous planning, with preparations beginning almost 2 years in advance to ensure a seamless and enriching experience for attendees. From selecting a host city and venue to curating a diverse and inclusive programme, coordinating bursaries, engaging speakers, and managing logistics, every detail is carefully planned in collaboration with a dedicated team, event organisers, and strategic partners.
The SVRI Forums Assistant will work closely with the Global Partnerships and Network Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of the Forum, ensuring the smooth delivery of all activities.
Key responsibilities
Event support and logistics
Assist with planning and coordinating the biennial SVRI Forum and related events.
Support the Forum Organising Committee in venue, travel, session logistics, and broader conference management.
Support in managing event software (e.g., Oxford Abstracts, Whova) for registration, scheduling, and engagement.
Support coordination of speakers and delegates, manage communications, track requirements, assist where relevant with visas/invitations.
Support abstract submission and review processes.
On-site support at the SVRI Forum.
Administrative and communication support:
Provide administrative support to the Global Partnerships and Network Manager, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, minute taking.
Assist in managing SVRI Forum helpdesk.
Assist in updating web pages and online forms.
Maintain organised records of partnerships, conference plans, and networking events, including project plans and contact lists.
Collaborate with the SVRI team to follow up on action items and ensure information flow.
Webinar production and membership database management:
Assist in coordination of logistics for SVRI webinars, including scheduling, platform setup (e.g., Zoom), registration, and technical support during sessions.
Assist in maintaining and updating the SVRIs membership database, ensuring accurate member information for analysis.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (public health, social sciences, event management, etc.).
- 2–5 years of experience in event coordination, project administration, or administrative support, ideally in an international NGO or research environment.
- Experience working in international teams or on global projects is beneficial.
- Interest in gender-based violence, public health, or social justice is an asset.
- Ability to provide at least two references.
- Fluency in English required; proficiency in Spanish and/or French is a plus.
