- Remote option: Remote (global)
- Right to work requirements: International contract

Child protection/ Children’s rights Gender equality and Social inclusion (GESI)Purpose of Assignment
In light of UNICEF's new Gender Equality Action Plan 2026-2029 and the UNICEF Strategic Plan 2026-2029, and following the recently completed mid-term review of the UNICEF Morocco Country Programme, UNICEF Morocco seeks to commission a Gender Programmatic Review to assess the current positioning, integration and effectiveness of gender across its programme portfolio and partnerships in Morocco, and with particular focus on the Beni Mellal-Khenifra region, where UNICEF Morocco's territorial convergence programme is being implemented.
The consultancy will analyse how gender equality is currently articulated within the Country Programme Document (CPD) results framework and the findings of the mid-term review, identifying both areas of progress and areas requiring strengthening. The review will anchor itself in UNICEF Morocco's programme priorities, ensuring alignment with national development frameworks, government policies, and the evolving needs of girls, boys, women and families.
The primary purpose is to generate strategic and evidence-based options through which UNICEF can reinforce its comparative advantage in the national context and within the broader UN system in Morocco to strengthen gender equality. This includes mapping gaps, opportunities, and stakeholder roles across sectors, with attention to UN agencies, government and civil society, in order to identify avenues for leadership, collaboration and leverage.
The strategic and evidence-based options should articulate two types of gender priorities for the office: 1. Opportunities for gender mainstreaming, aiming to drive cross-sector transformation and embed gender responsiveness across all programme components, operations and partnerships; and 2. Flagship sectoral gender initiatives, where tailored interventions can address gender disparities and accelerate results in health, education, social protection, child protection, and other CPD priority areas.
The deliverables of this consultancy will directly inform the UNICEF Morocco Gender Action Plan 2026-2027, covering the remainder of the current CPD cycle, and will serve as a building block for the development of the next Country Programme Document, ensuring that gender equality is integrated as a core driver of results and systems change for every child, especially adolescent girls.
Minimum requirements:Education: Masters degree in gender studies, social sciences, international development or any other relevant field.
Work Experience: At least 8 years of progressively responsible experience in gender equality and strategic advisory roles, including demonstrated experience providing high-level guidance to inform programme design, policy development, and organizational decision-making.
Skills: Substantive and programmatic expertise in gender issues, with an understanding of broader systems thinking in terms of social change; strong skills in supporting countries on gender analysis, assessments and reviews; demonstrated experience in using gender-related evidence for shaping and implementing programmes; strong analytical skills in gender programme design and assessment, ideally at the national level; excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
Language Requirements: Fluency in English and working proficiency in French required.*When clicking on “Apply”, you will be redirected to the original job announcement and details

Digital rights GBV / VAWG Health Sexual & reproductive rights (SRHR) YouthBackgroud:UNFPA works across the Asia-Pacific region to ensure adolescents and youth have access to age-appropriate comprehensive sexuality education in and out-of-school settings. Doing so equips young people with essential information and skills to have healthy relationships, promote gender-equitable social norms (including positive masculinity), and make informed decisions about their body and rights.
Young people increasingly turn to online spaces, social media, digital technologies and other platforms for information about sexual and reproductive health, gender equality, and other issues. Their knowledge, attitudes, and norms are increasingly influenced or ‘made’ in these digital spaces that were not originally designed to provide comprehensive health information. However, current digital SRHR work is often narrow, focusing primarily on informational websites, mHealth apps, or referrals to service delivery. Furthermore, the rise of generative AI – also increasingly used by youth for health information and emotional companionship—presents an urgent, unstudied area with direct implications for how young people form attitudes around intimacy, consent, and sexuality.
Purpose of Consultancy:The purpose of this international consultancy is to document, compile, curate promising digital CSE models relevant in the Asia Pacific region, and the factors influencing adolescents’ use of these platforms. The documentation process will give particular focus to gender equality, healthy and respectful relationships, informed and affirmative consent, online safety, TfGBV, and CSE-ASRH linkages).
The curation and documentation process will also entail a rapid landscape analysis to map the factors surrounding young people’s access, habits, and use of digital technologies that impact their SRHR.
Education: Master’s level in Public Health, Social Sciences, Psychology, or other interdisciplinary disciplines with technology
Professional Experience and Required Skills:- Education background: Master’s level in Public Health, Social Sciences, Psychology, or other interdisciplinary disciplines with technology
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the intersection of adolescent and youth health and well-being, technology and AI. Experience with youth SRHR and the intersection with online safety and mental health is an asset. Regional experience in Asia-Pacific is strongly preferred
- Prior experience in conducting scoping review and qualitative key informative interviews. Demonstrated experience in evidence synthesis and knowledge translation for policy and programme audiences
- Demonstrated experience working with youth and youth-led entities, especially online communities and digital platforms.
- Prior experience with fostering communities of practice and digital content creation a plus

Health Youth Sexual & reproductive rights (SRHR)IntroductionY+ Global is a global network of young people living with HIV, dedicated to advocating for the rights of adolescents and young people to lead healthy, fulfilling lives. Collaborating with over 109 implementing partners across 30 countries, we amplify our voices and drive change on global, regional, and national health advocacy platforms. Our mission is to mobilise young people living with HIV across the globe to promote our right to live healthy and fulfilling lives. We focus on empowering AYP on issues related to HIV, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), comprehensive sexuality education (CSE), self-care, mental health, and human rights, and more, while building their leadership capacity in these areas.
BackgroundThe HIV prevention landscape has significantly evolved in recent years, introducing innovative solutions that have the potential to transform women’s health outcomes. Breakthrough technologies, such as the daily oral PrEP pill, the monthly Dapivirine vaginal ring, two-month injectable cabotegravir, and upcoming long-acting innovations like Lenacapavir (administered twice a year), Apretude (every two months), and the dual prevention pill, offer transformative opportunities to reduce HIV infections among girls and young women. However, significant obstacles regarding accessibility remain persistent and deny girls and young women’s autonomy over their health.
Despite these advancements, access to these methods is deeply uneven. Adolescent girls and young women (AGYW) continue to face major barriers in accessing the full range of HIV prevention options. At the community and individual levels, they encounter additional challenges, including stigma, limited autonomy and awareness, restrictive gender norms, gender based violence and a lack of financial and social support. These barriers are compounded by intersecting vulnerabilities such as criminalisation, exclusion from services, and safety risks associated with poverty, sex work, drug use, sexual orientation, or gender identity. In many settings, healthcare workers are not adequately trained or informed about newer prevention methods, which reduces the quality of counselling and service delivery.
ObjectivesThe consultant designs the baseline and supports the analysis, while Y+ Global and local partners collect data on HIV prevention knowledge, risk perception, prevention preferences, service experiences, and access barriers among AGYW in Soweto to inform the implementation of the EmpowHER CHOICE Project.
Eligibility and Qualifications- A Master's degree or higher in Public Health, Social Sciences, Epidemiology, Development Studies, Monitoring and Evaluation, or a related field.
- Based in South Africa, with demonstrated experience conducting research in Gauteng and strong familiarity with the Soweto context
- At least five years of experience conducting public health or HIV-related assessments and research.
- Demonstrated experience working with AGYW populations.
- Strong understanding of HIV prevention programming and emerging prevention technologies.
- Proven expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
- Experience conducting research in South Africa, preferably in Gauteng.
- Excellent analytical, facilitation, report-writing, and presentation skills.

Digital rights GBV / VAWG MasculinitiesBackground and Project Overview
Equimundo: Center for Masculinities and Social Justice is implementing a project aimed at addressing gendered disinformation and other online harmful behaviors through strategies that engage men and boys - a multi-year initiative funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands. Running from June 2026 through December 2028, this initiative will tackle the growing threat of gendered disinformation and technology-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV) in Eastern Europe and sub-Saharan Africa, two regions where rapid digital expansion has outpaced legal and social protections for women, girls, and marginalized communities.
At the heart of the project is a bold and necessary premise: preventing online violence requires engaging the men and boys who disproportionately perpetrate, enable, and normalize it, while also recognizing that they are themselves frequently targeted, exploited, and harmed by the same online ecosystems. Through strategic grantmaking to local and regional organizations, Equimundo will support interventions across three pillars - critical digital literacy, policy and corporate advocacy, and the creation of caring online spaces. Grounded in rigorous regional research on the ‘manosphere’ and other online ecosystems, the initiative will fund evidence-based programs that challenge harmful gender norms, foster positive digital masculinities, and build safer online environments for everyone. Diversity, Equality and Inclusion (DEI) Economic justiceBackground
Women in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region continue to face significant structural barriers to meaningful economic participation, particularly in accessing financial services. The project will contribute to strengthening financial inclusion, entrepreneurship development, and trade facilitation for women and young women entrepreneurs, while promoting gender-responsive economic systems and policies. The project will be implemented in four (4) SADC Countries, that is Madagascar, Malawi, Mozambique and Lesotho.
