Gender equality and Social inclusion (GESI)1. Project Background:The (ConJusticia) activity aims to increase accountability and improve citizen confidence in government by promoting greater effectiveness of the Mexican criminal justice system, primarily at the Mexican state level, through the implementation and institutionalization of more efficient justice sector processes, systems, and structures. 2. Role’s Purpose:The Gender Equality and Social Inclusion for Investigation and Litigation Consultant will contribute to and advise on the implementation of ConJusticia’s GESI Strategy in areas of Investigation and Litigation.
3. Objectives and DutiesStrengthen the Gender Unit of the State Attorney’s General Office of Zacatecas with tools, guidelines, and methodologies.Contribute to the development of a Sustainability Plan for Gender Units in State Attorneys General Offices.Accompany GESI mainstreaming in the design and implementation of Investigation Plans in target states through coaching sessions, methodologies, guidelines, and tools.

Movement buildingWhat is the Asia Pacific Feminist Forum?
APFF, convened every three year, is a space for feminist and women’s movements to celebrate collective achievements, reflect on challenges and political climates, deepen feminist knowledge and analysis, strengthen feminist sisterhood, solidarity and collaboration to advance women’s rights and Development Justice. It is a participatory event bringing together activists, women human rights defenders, academics, lawyers and global allies. The Forum will facilitate the sharing of tools and resources, provide space for solidarity actions and collectively strategise to build feminist movements’ power and solidarity.Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Work closely with and provide support to the Events Coordinator in overall development and implementation of the APFF strategies, work plan and internal communication and coordination plan.
- Support and assist in the overall organising of the Asia Pacific Feminist Forum in 2024.
- Provide support to APFF Organising Committee members and partners which includes maintaining regular and secure communication among network members or partners (including email, video calls, telephone calls, etc.).
- Provide support to coordinate the participation of members and partners attending APFF Activities (including logistical, visa, airline booking, finance support during meetings); as well as supporting the coordination with members and partners.

Selection Criteria
- A degree in social and political science, law, human rights, development, women’s studies, communications or related studies.
- Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years experience in development work, women’s human rights, and/or social movements at the national, regional or international level.
- Demonstrated commitment to the promotion of women’s human rights in Asia and the Pacific.
- Demonstrated experience in event coordination as part of social movement or movement building for feminist, human rights or civil society organisations at national, regional or international level. .
- Excellent administrative skills and ability to prioritise tasks, have strong problem-solving and decision making attitude, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Gender-based violence (GBV)Background
The Global Survivors Fund (“GSF”) was launched in October 2019 by Dr Denis Mukwege and
Nadia Murad, Nobel Peace Prize laureates 2018. Its mission is to enhance access to reparations for survivors of conflict-related sexual violence around the globe, thus responding to a gap long identified by survivors. GSF acts to provide interim reparative measures in situations where states or other parties are unable or unwilling to meet their responsibilities. GSF advocates for duty bearers as well as the international community to develop reparations programmes. It also guides states and civil society by providing expertise and technical support for designing reparations programmes. GSF’s survivor-centric approach is the cornerstone of its work.
Role Summary
The intern will be responsible for supporting the activities of the Act team working on projects for interim reparative measures and will report to the Senior Project Officer. In addition, the intern may provide some support to the other activities of the Department of Programmes, when necessary.
Intern’s Responsibilities

Knowledge and Skills
●Demonstratedexperience working in the climate justice/action sector

They will oversee identifying the needs of the women and refer them to appropriate care to meet their needs.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES:- Provide support of survival centered case management services, including needs assessment, case plans, follow-up, referrals, and counseling.
- Develop and implement the individual case planning for women in case management.
- Ensure regular follow-up of the implementation of the case plan for each woman.
- Liaise with other Protection actors to coordinate implementation of common standards and consideration of protection issues.
- Identify special needs of the women and liaise with the Protection Officer to meet these needs.
- Provide confidential referral based on the best interest of the women to other service providers as part of case management; follow-up to ensure that all the cases adequately receiving needed support once referral has been made.
- Receive cases referred from other CP, safe house, and service providers to provide case management as required.
- Identify mentor and build capacities of community volunteers, incentive to provide information and education and how to refer to women in need.
- Create and updating service mapping on their coverage area. coordinate woreda level case management meetings
- Identify gaps / challenges in service delivery and coordinate with relevant actors to ensure that safe and confidential services are made available and accessible to vulnerable women.
- Complete and maintain case management records and ensure that they are stored in a safe and confidential manner.
- Submit weekly and monthly case management reports.
- Input all data on a regular basis and submit to the supervisor for review and approval.
- Conduct an incidence trends analysis each quarter for purposes of learning, future programing, and advocacy.
- Practice self-care.
- Always adhere to the GBV protection guiding principles.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS :- BSc/BA in Sociology, Psychology, Social Sciences, Behavioral Sciences, or its recognized
- 0-2 years of experience with NGO or CBO.
- 0-2 year relevant experience in Gender Based Violence programming including Case Management is desirable.
