Girls Not Brides is the only global organisation uniquely focused on creating and sustaining a worldwide movement to end child marriage and ensuring that this movement leads to tangible change for the girls at risk or affected by the practice. We are a network of over 1,600 civil society organisations in over 100 countries working in partnership to end child marriage.
INTRODUCTION TO THE ROLE
We are seeking an enthusiastic fundraiser to join our Development and Outreach team, which leads Girls Not Brides’ work on influencing fundraising for the movement to end child marriage and for the Girls Not Brides Secretariat, and supports broader events, partners and positioning for the movement. Reporting to the Head of Development and Outreach, the Senior Development and Outreach Officer holds varied responsibilities including relationship building and management, proposal writing and donor reporting, development of donor communication products, support to events and outreach activities, prospect research, and fundraising capacity support for Girls Not Brides member organisations.The Senior Development and Outreach Officer is someone who is passionate about Girls Not Brides' mission, with excellent verbal and written communication, strong stakeholder and relationship management skills. The Senior Officer is a team player with good organisational skills and a commitment to learning and development. Knowledge of the funding landscape and previous experience with programming relating to girls and women’s rights is an asset.
Job location
London, UK (hybrid with up to three days on site). Includes international travel.
The successful candidate must already have the right to work in the UK.
Working as a global team, all Girls Not Brides team members may from time to time be expected to work outside normal working hours (e.g. early morning or early evening). This is not a regular occurrence and is only to accommodate collaboration of teams across different time zones.

Qualifications:- Master’s degree in law, human rights, political science, public policy or a related field.

Program Management
• Provide support to deliver on cross-cutting FP2030 priorities in the designated countries, such as: promoting a rights-based approach to FP policy, programs, and service delivery; highlighting evidence, country data, and High Impact Practices (HIPS); ensuring programs reach and meet the needs of adolescents and young people and other marginalized groups such as those living with disability; and working with countries to build resilience plans for FP in times of crisis and displacement.
• Contribute to annual and quarterly work plans and budgets to provide value-added support to accelerate country progress in designated countries. Prepare regular work plan reviews and timely reports on progress/challenges.
External Relations and Communications
• Contribute to high level engagement meetings by documenting progress and key challenges, and by drafting clear and concise executive summaries of countries achievements and challenges.
• In consultation with the Managing Director, manage regular meetings with key regional partners (e.g. UNFPA WCARO, USAID, FCDO, etc.) and participate in FP2030 external events, meetings and on task teams.
• In collaboration with the Managing Director, identify opportunities and events/conferences to highlight FP2030 and the accomplishments of the FP2030 movement, especially in the area of country achievements.
• In collaboration with the Communications team, identify and support development of communications opportunities and messaging that can be featured in regional communications as well as in global FP2030 communications such as the FP2030 newsletter, website/social media, and/or annual progress reports.

Gender in emergencies Gender-based violence (GBV)Objective:Gender And GBV Analysis aims to collect information about the different needs, capacities, and coping strategies of women, men, boys, and girls in the project targeted locations. It will also collect data on GBV risks, prevalence, GBV service availability, and barriers to access care for GBV survivors. Movement buildingRESPONSIBILITIES1. Strategic Leadership and Executive Oversight- Responsible for overseeing the implementation of FRIDA's strategic plan, annual plans, related work planning, and organizational development and growth plans, in line with FRIDA’s collectively developed strategic vision and political positioning.
2.
