Gender-based violence (GBV)RESUMEN DE LA POSICIÓN:La/el Oficial de VBG tendrá la responsabilidad de implementar la estrategia de atención, prevención y mitigación de la Violencia Basada en Género en HIAS, en respuesta a la crisis migratoria en el Golfo del Urabá, ubicado en el departamento del Chocó.
FUNCIONES PRINCIPALES:- Realizar la actualización del mapeo de actores y activación de rutas para violencia basada en género a nivel local y de región.
- Desarrollar talleres para fortalecer capacidades locales en VBG a través de sesiones técnicas a organizaciones de base comunitaria, organizaciones de sociedad civil e instituciones públicas, entre otras, cuando esto sea requerido
- Llevar a cabo actividades de sensibilización para la prevención de la VBG y la promoción de los derechos humanos de las mujeres y población LGBTIQ+ por medio de sesiones informativas.
- Realizar gestión de casos de las personas sobrevivientes de VBG o en riesgo de VBG, en el marco de los lineamientos de HIAS, significando lo anterior que: 1) identifica y evalúa riesgos de protección en VBG, 2) establece de forma conjunta objetivos y plan de acción, 3) remite los casos a entidades correspondientes para el acceso a servicios necesarios y 4) da seguimiento a las remisiones y cierre del caso oportuno.
- Participar en reuniones del proyecto con los coordinadores del proyecto, gerencia de programas, y el equipo regional del proyecto, así como reuniones técnicas con el área psicosocial y VBG de HIAS Colombia y de coordinación interinstitucional con demás áreas programáticas, cuando sea requerido
- Ser responsable del monitoreo de los avances de los indicadores y metas a su cargo, realizando entrega de soportes y reportes de las actividades ejecutadas.
- Las demás asignadas por el/la supervisor/a en el cumplimiento del objetivo del cargo.
PERFIL REQUERIDO:Estudios:Título profesional en trabajo social, psicología, ciencias sociales y carreras afines.Experiencia Profesional:- Profesional con experiencia en procesos de desarrollo y trabajo social, experiencia deseada superior a tres (3) años.
- Experiencia de trabajo mínima de dos años en VBG en contextos humanitarios (en territorios, con personas vulnerables, víctimas del conflicto y/o personas migrantes y refugiadas),
- Experiencia previa en intervenciones en contextos complejos, volátiles y de difícil acceso para la atención población vulnerable en condición de emergencia
- Conocimientos sobre el enfoque de género, enfoque centrado en la sobreviviente y diferencial, la gestión de casos de sobrevivientes de VBG, la ruta de atención de VBG, y el marco normativo colombiano
- Experiencia en gestión de casos y enfoque centrado en la persona sobreviviente.
- Deseable conocimientos en derechos sexuales y reproductivos con énfasis en salud menstrual en contextos de emergencia.
- Deseable manejo de un segundo idioma (inglés, francés, portugués, creol).

Counterpart International is looking for a Director of Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI). This is a highly technical leadership role. It sits within our Women’s Empowerment Practice area and requires international development experience.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the WE leadership team to lead the strategic co-design and organizational use of GESI standards, tools, evaluation metrics and capacity strengthening initiatives.
- Lead the GESI technical pillar by incorporating technical offerings into existing programs across portfolios.
- Lead, supervise, and help provide quality assurance on the design and/or execution of GESI analyses, action plans, activities, MEL plans, and impact evaluations.
- Collaborate with the WE NBD Specialist and Senior Director of WE to create GESI-related NBD tools, systems and capacity strengthening initiatives as needed.
- Work closely with the Resilient Food Systems practice and other practices and departments to help develop signature GESI and WE approaches, tools, and activities for USDA and other donors where it is not required but can help advance existing project goals and activities.
- Collaborate with the WE leadership team on supporting internal GESI learning and a WE and GESI community of practice.
- Serve on proposal development teams as needed.
- Lead GESI capacity strengthening initiatives with staff, consultants and interns. Design and implement GESI capacity-building interventions in coordination with project teams and local partners.
- Work with internal and external experts to develop and design high-quality GESI training curricula and capacity-strengthening approaches. Conceptualize and develop GESI training materials (manuals, workbooks, facilitator guides).
- Work with the WE leadership team to develop and champion the use of cutting-edge tools and resources for WE, leadership, and GESI.
- Support GESI related thought leadership events and coalition participation and advocacy efforts as needed.
- Collaborate with Communications to support GESI related social media posts, communications products and other deliverables.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in international affairs, international development, gender equality, or related field required. Masters’ degree preferred.
- Minimum of 12 years of technical work experience and demonstrated excellence in leading GESI integration efforts in international development programming.
- 5 years of experience leading high quality GESI analyses, with at least 3 of those years leading USAID project or program GESI analyses.
- Experience with USAID and other NBD processes and integrating GESI technical components.
- Demonstrated commitment to and substantial experience in designing and facilitating participatory, inclusive, accessible, learner-centered methodologies for both training and capacity strengthening.
- Outstanding program management skills including a commitment to technical excellence, a demonstrated track record in achieving programmatic results, and a deep understanding of financial and management compliance.
- Demonstrated success as an entrepreneurial and creative thinker who has the drive and vision to develop, define, and expand GESI programming and mainstreaming initiatives.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including working with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures; 3+ years overseas experience strongly preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee implementation of rigorous VAWG research and evaluations. - You are highly experienced at conducting safe and ethical VAWG research with partners in the Asia and Pacific Regions and in other low- and middle-income country (LMICs) contexts.
- You hold tertiary qualifications (Masters or PhD level) in relevant fields, such as social sciences, gender studies, public health, etc.

About the role

About you
Essential

The Global Survivors Fund (GSF) was launched in 2019 by Dr Denis Mukwege and Nadia Murad, Nobel Peace Prize laureates 2018. Its mission is to enhance access to reparations for survivors of conflict-related sexual violence around the globe, thus responding to a gap long identified by survivors. Role Summary

Projects work to help fellows develop skills in fundraising, phone banking, and more.
The program meets virtually once a week on Thursdays from 6:00-8:00pm ET. Fellows should expect to commit roughly 3-4 hours per week to the program. Attendance at Zoom sessions is mandatory for participating in the program. This fellowship is entirely remote- students from anywhere in the U.S. are encouraged to apply.
