ABOUT PACIFIC FEMINIST FUND (PFF)
The Pacific Feminist Fund - proudly Pacific, feminist and independent - is led by feminists in the region. Our purpose is to secure funding and support the work of Pacific feminist movements and groups

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Pacific Feminist Storying

Have an appreciation of, and comfort with, Pacific feminist ways of storying: you will be grounded in your own familial and community contexts and guided by your interest/experience in active listening. Have an understanding of Pacific feminist ways of disrupting power.
Have an understanding of gender equality, women’s empowerment issues, priorities and development challenges in the Pacific region.

Data Interpretation and Presentation
Be able to curate content, analyze and present data in ways that are compelling, innovative and emotive, including narrative and visual presentation of data and stories we want to tell.
Support PFF and our partners to find patterns and distil insights from our data with critical thinking and a feminist lens to provide strategic direction on PFF’s work.

Content Curation and Digital Storytelling Management
Content curation and website management for PFF – our website is where our content is anchored.
Branding and management of identity in all PFF digital, social media, and online as well as print products, adverts, posts and publications internally as well as externally

Communications Strategy and Implementation
Develop a Communications Strategy with accompanying budget. Manage the Communications budget.
Ensure the Communications Strategy is updated and remains relevant to our work.

Strategic Positioning of PFF
Intentionally position PFF’s style and work in the regional and global feminist landscapes, based on inventory of PFF’s products so far, needs assessment of our 23 countries and existing grantee partners, and research on the global feminist fund ecosystem.

Organisational Responsibilities
Participate in policy formulation and implementation, team reflections, strategic and work planning, governance support, and event planning as required of all team members in the course of each year

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Excellent communication and writing skills: writing for multiple audiences will be key – including our Co-Leads, our team, our Board of Trustees, the communities, our grantee partners, grantee partners, movements, peers in the feminist funding ecosystem, and our funders and donors. Outstanding relationship management skills, grounded in kindness, trust, reciprocity and relationality. 
Excellent digital skills, including knowledge of standard office computing programs, alongside specific insight into technologies and online platforms for communication, data visualization, graphics, and front-end website development management.
 Ability and desire to work in a multi-disciplinary, cross-cultural, collaborative and virtual team environment empathically across time zones, with a proven ability to also work independently, under pressure and to meet deadlines with accountability. 
Have at least 5-7 years’ experience in a Communications or Strategic Communications role in a Pacific regional organization or network. 
Have formal qualifications in communication (such as a Bachelor of Communications/Media/Journalism), and some knowledge or training in development, gender/women’s studies, or another relevant field.
