Gender Equity Victoria (GEN VIC) is inviting applications for two (2) new Board Director positions.

As a leading voice in the gender equity movement across Victoria, GEN VIC plays a pivotal role in advocating for a society where all people can thrive, regardless of gender. The organisation is now seeking passionate, skilled individuals to help shape its strategic direction and governance.

Key Areas of Expertise Sought

The Board is particularly seeking applicants with experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Finance

  • Risk 

  • Partnerships, Philanthropy or Fundraising 

Successful candidates will demonstrate strong communication skills, active listening, and the ability to confidently contribute to strategic discussions and recommendations.

GEN VIC’s Board meets bimonthly, with members expected to prepare and actively participate in both Board and committee meetings. Directors are responsible for ensuring strong governance, risk oversight, and financial performance, as well as guiding delivery against GEN VIC’s strategic goals.
