Position Overview
Ready to help shape conversations that matter? FEMINIST is looking for a dynamic Community Manager & Analytics specialist who's passionate about amplifying feminist voices and building engaged communities online!
You'll be the mastermind behind our social media presence, expertly managing and editing content across multiple platforms while keeping your finger on the pulse of what our community wants to see. While this role includes some content creation, you'll primarily focus on making our existing content shine through strategic editing, optimization, and community engagement. Plus, you'll be our data tracker, uncovering insights through analytics and social listening that help us connect even better with our audience.

Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management & Editing (Primary Focus)
Manage daily posting across all social media accounts including Instagram, TikTok, Threads, Blue Sky, YouTube, and broadcast channels
Edit and adapt content for platform-specific formats and audiences
Optimize captions, hashtags, and posting schedules for maximum engagement
Handle weekend posting schedules to maintain consistent engagement
Create social media adaptations of content based on caption frameworks provided by our creative producer
Content Creation
Create and publish 1-2 posts per week
Produce and manage our weekly ICYMI Instagram Stories series
Conduct social research and curate reels for amplification opportunities
Community Engagement & Management
Manage direct message communications across all platforms
Monitor and moderate comment sections across social channels
Build and maintain community relationships through consistent engagement
Analytics & Reporting
Track and compile weekly analytics reports for editorial team meetings
Present weekly social listening insights and trends to editorial meetings
Provide data-driven recommendations for content strategy optimization
Collaboration
Work closely with our creative producer on content development and strategy alignment
Participate in regular editorial calls and strategy sessions to present weekly platform analytics
Required Qualifications
2-3 years of experience in social media management, editing, and community engagement
Strong background in social editing and content adaptation across platforms
Near-expert level knowledge of social media tools, platforms, and current trends
Proven experience with social media analytics and reporting
Excellent written communication skills with attention to brand voice and platform-specific editing
Ability to work independently and manage multiple platform schedules
Flexibility to post on weekends and respond to community engagement
Note: While this role includes some content creation (1-2 posts weekly + ICYMI stories), the primary focus is on social media management, editing existing content for different platforms, and community engagement.
