Feminist Alliance Trust is a newly launched nonprofit organization based in New Delhi, India founded by feminist lawyer, journalist The necessary legal paper work of the organization was completed in March 2025.
We are now looking for three founding-Trustees who will set up the first Board of Trustee along with the two Founders, Dr Sanjukta Basu and Ms. Leher Sethi, to help build the organization and walk it through its formative years on the path leading to legitimate funding and actionable projects.
Feminist knowledge building, capacity building and legal and political interventions are the three key areas of work envisioned by the organization founders. However, it is an open canvas for the newly constituted Board of Trustees to bring in more feminist ideas.
The role of the trustee is that of a foster parent who can nurture a new born. You will bring new ideas to the table, take initiatives to bring projects and fundings, help the organization build credibility amongst peers and more. Above all, as one of the founding Trustees, you will make this organization your own, and see where can we go from here.
