Exciting role to support the Senior Secondary Education Improvement Project in the Solomon Islands.
DT Global is seeking for qualified experts and potential partners for the Senior Secondary Education Improvement Project, funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
This transformative initiative aims to enhance the quality and relevance of senior secondary education (Years 10–12) in the Solomon Islands. The project will achieve this by reforming the curriculum to make learning more practical and aligned with foundational skills required for lifelong learning and future employment. A key focus will be on resilience-oriented skills and job creation.
Key role
Gender, Disability and Social Inclusion Curriculum Specialist (National)
• Advanced degree in gender studies, disability studies, social inclusion studies, education, development studies, sociology, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in gender equality, disability, and social inclusion projects.
• Experience working within the national education sector, including familiarity with national curriculum development processes.
• Previous experience working at the secondary school level is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of national policies and frameworks on gender, disability, and social inclusion in education.
