Part of the Strategic Partnerships Division, the Private Sector Partnerships (PSP) Section leads UN Women’s engagement with the private sector, corporations, philanthropy, foundations, and individuals - both in terms of a substantive components and resource mobilization - and it drives a wide range of UN Women’s global initiatives: HeForShe, Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) and Unstereotype Alliance (UA). It also leads the work with all UN Women National Committees, and on the development of the individual/digital giving business line for private sector. PSP’s main aims are to ensure that UN Women develops and sustains high quality and impact focused partnerships to achieve maximum results for gender equality and women’s empowerment.
The Barbershop Toolkit is a HeForShe participatory program, rooted in the Transforming Patriarchal Masculinities (TPM) approach, and designed to engage men and boys in exploring equitable masculinities, gender equality, and social norms change. To scale the initiative across multiple countries and languages, UN Women seeks to establish a roster of qualified facilitators who can deliver Barbershop sessions and support local adaptation processes. The Consultant Roster is a deployment mechanism maintaining pre-vetted experts within an area of specialization and related sub-specializations. The roster is established to meet the organization’s growing need for access to expertise and to accelerate delivery. The roster provides HQ, Regional and Country Offices access to a large pool of pre-vetted candidates to be able to kickstart new programmes, accelerate delivery of existing programmes and/or respond to emergency situations/urgent assignments requiring rapid deployments of qualified expertise.
Required Qualifications:Education and Certification:- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Social Sciences, Human Rights, Gender/ Women’s studies, International Development, or a related field is required.
- A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
Experience:- Minimum of 5 years of work experience
- Experience facilitating trainings, workshops, or dialogue-based programmes on gender equality, male allyship and equitable masculinities is required.
Languages:- Fluency in oral and written English is required.
- Fluency in an additional language is highly desirable, particularly if it will assist in adapting the Barbershop toolkit and materials to regional or local contexts.

UN Women Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific (ROAP), through its Governance, Peace and Security (GPS) Unit, leads policy and programme development and implementation in the areas of women’s leadership and decision-making and the advancement of the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) agenda. Education and Certification:- Master’s degree in social sciences, conflict studies, gender studies, international affairs, and/or another relevant field related to gender in governance, peace and security is required;
- A first-level university degree in combination withtwo additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
Experience:- At least 5 years of progressively responsible work experience at the national or international level in the design, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of programmes related to Governance, Peace and Security;
- Technical experience in programming, advisory and advocacy work with governments and civil society on gender and governance, peace and security is required; including on women’s leadership and decision-making, and emerging issues such as climate change and cybersecurity and new technology.
- Previous experience with UN Women and/or other UN agencies is an asset.

Job Summary
The College of Literature, Science, and the Arts (LSA) at the University of Michigan seeks outstanding scholars for new tenure-track assistant professor faculty positions as part of the Michigan Program for Advancing Cultural Transformation (M-PACT) Program. This hiring program, a federally funded, university-wide faculty initiative, aims to recruit faculty with a demonstrated and ongoing record of driving transformative research, life-changing teaching, and accessible clinical care that will support the health of all, including communities who have been underserved. By partnering with faculty throughout their careers, M-PACT strengthens the capacity of those who serve as catalysts for change in academic and healthcare environments via their scholarship, teaching, and/or service activities with research interests suitable for funding by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This call is part of a broader university effort to enhance inclusive excellence across the biomedical and health sciences community. Through the M-PACT program, the Department of Women's and Gender Studies (WGS) seeks a scholar whose work brings feminist, gender, queer, or sexuality studies to bear on health and health equity. We construe health broadly, including physical, psychological, and behavioral health. We are also interested in health policy as well as social and structural conditions that shape health outcomes and health inequities. Field of specialization is open, as is methodological approach; we welcome interpretive, qualitative, quantitative, and community-engaged research. Relevant fields might include medical sociology or anthropology; social, community, or health psychology; social epidemiology; demography; public health; science and technology studies; and bioethics. The successful candidate will have an outstanding research program with strong potential for NIH funding. A degree, graduate certificate, or formal specialization in women's, gender, or sexuality studies is preferred. In the absence of a formal credential, candidates must have a demonstrated record of sustained scholarship in this area.

The position leads and manages the Policy and Advocacy Team, and reports directly to the Executive Director, working closely with colleagues working on programmes and movement building, communications, and individual giving, to ensure alignment and connection across different areas of work.

Job description
As the Survivor Movement and Participation Lead you will:
- Design, establish and coordinate an Experts with Lived Experience (ELE) Network, developing a survivor involvement framework that promotes safe, ethical, inclusive and meaningful participation, with appropriate emotional support, safeguarding, debriefing and payment arrangements in place.
- Design, facilitate and evaluate peer support groups and survivor-led spaces, creating opportunities for survivors to influence strategic decision-making, project governance and service evaluation at every stage.
- Train and mentor survivors in facilitation, peer support and leadership, building capacity for survivor-led design, delivery and evaluation of services.
- Lead the co-production and delivery of training with Experts with Lived Experience, covering areas such as trauma-informed practice, responding to disclosures and reducing re-traumatisation, working in partnership with NHS mental health providers, specialist sexual violence services and the voluntary sector.
- Develop tools to assess survivor influence and leadership across programmes and governance, facilitating reflective learning spaces and co-authoring learning briefs and policy insights to promote survivor-led approaches.

About the PositionUnder the supervision of the Social and Economic Inclusion Impact Lead and together with other scientists at WorldFish, the Scientist will be responsible for co-designing, co-leading and publishing innovative and impactful strategic research for development in the area of gender-inclusive and pro-poor value chains and markets; laying the foundation of the work on women’s empowerment in the fisheries sector; unpacking “better” strategies for community-based natural resources management, importance of social networks in the fisheries and aquaculture sector, among other aspects of social and economic inclusion in these sectors.

The Senior Policy Coordinator plays a central role in advancing NWC’s strategic objectives across key areas of women’s equality. This role will involve a particular focus on women’s safety, gender-based violence, and tackling all forms of violence against women. Your role in our team
