The Alliance for Gender Equality in Europe (the Alliance) is a philanthropic initiative created in 2021 to support and strengthen the grassroots gender equality movement in Europe. It is composed by Bodossaki Foundation, Fondation CHANEL, Fondation de France, Fondation RAJA-Danièle Marcovici, JPMorgan Chase, King Baudouin Foundation, and L’Oréal Fund for Women, and hosted by the Network of European Foundations (NEF). Through grant-making, capacity strengthening, and awareness raising, the Alliance improves gender equality for all by transforming harmful gender norms and addressing the structural barriers that reinforce inequality and exclusion.
NEF provides the legal structure for the donor collaborative and serves as the employer. The Alliance is steered by the member foundations, who also guide its direction. NEF implements the Alliance’s strategy through its dedicated programme team.The current team is composed of a Senior Programme Manager, a Senior Communication & Learning Manager, and a Program Officer.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Programme Assistant will support the Alliance team in their daily operations. They will work, under the supervision of the Program Officer. More specifically, they will perform the following tasks (non-exhaustive list):
Events support
- Help schedule and organise logistics of online and in-person meetings, such as steering committee meetings, grantee convenings, grantee webinars, team retreats: Find and liaise with service providers: venues, catering, accommodation; Manage meeting registration process; Gather and process all reimbursement requests from meeting participants
- Help prepare meeting documents (practical information, lay-out, formatting, and printing of meeting materials, etc) and materials
Administrative and financial support
- Collect requests for payments, checking that the information is complete, and liaising with NEF to ensure timely processing.
- Take minutes during meetings and events.
- Help draft the contractual agreements with grantees, donors and consultants, and liaise with NEF to manage signature, filling, reporting, request for payments and other relevant updates in Optimy (our online grants management system).
Communications support
- Manage the info email address, responding to or re-directing enquiries in a timely fashion.
- Draft LinkedIn posts and newsletters when needed.
- Attend events and read reports relating to the work of the Alliance and provide summaries for the team.
And any other tasks that might be required from them.
REQUIREMENTS
- Pursuing/holding a degree in gender studies, international relations, political sciences, law, social sciences or related field.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Be adaptable and flexible as part of a small and fast-changing organisation.
- Good at building and maintaining productive working relationships with people from a wide diversity of backgrounds, both in-person and online.
- Knowledge or strong interest in gender equality in Europe.
- Committed to the Alliance vision and mission, NEF values and to diversity, equity and inclusion.
- Previous experience in a non-profit organisation is a big asset.

Gender-based violence (GBV)JOB SUMMARY: The GBV Caseworker will be responsible for providing direct support, including GBV case management and psychosocial support services, to vulnerable women and girls and survivors of GBV.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Service Provision

• Adhere to strict data protection and information-sharing protocols to protect the privacy, confidentiality, and safety of survivors
Coordination, Advocacy and Representation
• Develop and maintain contact with relevant stakeholders including community leaders and other humanitarian partners and service providers.
• Coordinate with other service providers and community focal points to strengthen access to services and build support for survivors
• Organize case management meetings, as required, with other service providers
• Coordinate with MHPSS, child protection, health, and other sectors to strengthen integration and referrals
• Represent program goals and GBV standards
Security and Conduct
• Ensure compliance with security protocols and policies
• Foster a safe and supportive working environment for all GBV staff and partners
• Exemplify core principles of GBV programming, including respect, non-discrimination, responsible use of power, nonviolence, and promotion of gender equality

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Core Responsibilities
- Data Management: Manage the entry and upkeep of donor data through a variety of platforms, and ensure the ongoing hygiene of data and the integrity of reporting and analytics in the database. Work with the Finance, Communications, Operations, and Programs teams to ensure ongoing reconciliation of the donor database.
- Design: Help create and execute systems of data to make the organization more efficient. Play a central role in setting up a new CRM and migrating data out of CiviCRM and into the new database.
- Donor Stewardship: Manage donor invoices, pledge agreements, and donor administrative requests. Create acknowledgment letters in a timely and consistent fashion. Manage donor email inquiries through the central donation email, and service donor requests for changes to their ongoing donations.
- Prospecting: Conduct donor research and fact-finding to support donor cultivation efforts by the Partnerships Team.
- Operations: Maintain and update clear documentation for donation and data processes. Ensure the organization of all Partnerships-related files, support note-taking, and assist with project management of ongoing team priorities.
- Solicitations: Support the Director of Partnerships with the execution of online fundraising campaigns and special fundraising initiatives.
2025 PRIORITIES
- In collaboration with the Director of Partnerships and a CRM consultant, help to design, set up, and migrate our data to a new CRM
- Support the cleanup of historical donor data

The Migrant Rights and Justice Program (MRJ), based in our DC office, is one of WRC’s largest and longest-running programs. The program advocates for thoughtful, forward-thinking, and rights-respecting policy solutions for migrant women, girls, and families.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Under the direction of the Director of Migrant Rights and Justice, engage the US administration and Congress, state and local governments, international organizations, and other relevant institutions and policymakers to advance policies that protect migrant women and families.
- Participate and, where appropriate, take a leadership role in coalitions and working groups related to state and local policy, federal advocacy, and regional engagement.
- Design and implement advocacy initiatives related to family separation, detention, asylum and the border, reproductive rights and justice, and other core MRJ policy areas.
- Brainstorm and write blog posts and statements for a nonexpert audience, with the ability to provide “rapid responses” to breaking news.
- Develop talking points, issue briefs, policy recommendations, advocacy messages, fact sheets, and other resources to elevate MRJ’s advocacy objectives.

- Statistics and indicators are compiled into national, sub-regional and regional statistics tables and indicators disseminated through the Pacific Data Hub

The Regional Humanitarian Project Coordinator and SRH in Emergencies Specialist will manage Phase III of the Regional Prepositioning Initiative (2021-2026), supported by the Government of Australia. This involves providing technical and programmatic support and oversight to 11 UNFPA Country Offices in the Asia Pacific region to implement the annual workplans; preparing progress updates, annual reports and workplans for the donor; undertaking budget monitoring, facilitating information sharing both internally and externally; supporting strategic capacity building and implementation of advocacy activities; facilitating strategic dialogues; and undertaking project monitoring and evaluation. The position will also provide programmatic support to country offices experiencing humanitarian crises to contribute to the regional office’s work on emergency preparedness and response, and ensure that women, girls and at-risk groups in disaster-prone countries within Asia and the Pacific have improved access to quality integrated SRH and GBV services during emergencies.
The position requires a strong background in SRHiE, with a clinical focus, including expertise in the Minimum Initial Service Package (MISP) for Sexual and Reproductive Health in Crisis Situations, and experience in developing technical guidance and implementing capacity-building initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:- Advanced university degree in public health, medicine, gender studies, humanitarian studies, international development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience in humanitarian programming, including SRH in Emergencies (SRHiE).
- Proven expertise in MISP training, capacity building, and SRH-GBV integration in humanitarian contexts.

Role Outline

To learn more please visit about GGGI web page.OBJECTIVES OF THE ASSIGNMENTIn support of the execution of the Transformative Climate Finance Program (TCFP), the implementation process of the African Union Green Recovery Action Plan (AU-GRAP) is taking a holistic and comprehensive approach in strengthening the seven pilot MS and three RECs efforts to mainstreaming gender responsive approaches within their green recovery and climate finance mobilization efforts.Building on the engagement and lessons learned across the seven MS and three RECs, this consultancy assignment seeks to build on previous engagements to enhance skills of national and regional policymakers notably in enhancing institutional capacity and equipping governments and partners with the necessary skills and knowledge to design, implement, and monitor inclusive green growth programming; while navigating the complex climate finance landscape.This consultancy assignment will target two MS and three RECs at the secretariat levels. The engagements with the identified stakeholders will assess and develop capacity building training focused on accessing green investment opportunities at the regional levels, as well as develop tailored strategies to advance inclusive green growth interventions at two identified MS.
DeliverablesThe objective of this consultancy is to enhance the skills of national policy makers to implement inclusive green growth policies and strengthen regional economic institutions’ capacity in mobilizing and accessing climate finance.Through targeted assessments, capacity-building strategies, and innovative tools, this assignment aims to:
- Strengthen the institutional capacity of three RECs and two MS to mainstream gender-responsive approaches in green recovery initiatives and climate finance; building on existing findings and direct engagement with stakeholders
- Develop actionable capacity-building strategies and training materials tailored to the needs of stakeholders, notably in implementing gender-responsive climate finance within green growth policies
- Oversee the development process of innovative visualization and digital tools for monitoring, evaluating, and sustaining inclusive and gender-responsive interventions
- Develop sustainability and inclusion assessment tool to assess impact, sustainability, risks and opportunities
EXPERTISE REQUIRED
- At least a Masters’ Degree in Social Sciences, Gender Studies, Public Health, Development Studies, or any relevant field with focus on gender, diversity, equity and inclusion, Climate Finance, Environmental Studies, Natural Resource, Economics, Agriculture, or related field.
- Proven experience designing and undertaking situational analysis studies around the inclusion of gender and social inclusion in green growth, climate change, agriculture and/or related fields in Africa.
- A significant experience developing training modules on inclusion and gender-responsive strategies in climate actions.
- Exceptional abilities in writing reports as evidenced by significant publications in books, reports and/or journals.
- Strong capabilities in data collection, analysis, and synthesis to identify trends, gaps, and actionable insights.
- Documented experience working and liaising within the African continent and/or with diverse contexts and cultures.
