“Pink” Human Rights Defender Non-Governmental Organization was founded in 2007. The organization is known to its beneficiaries and the public as Pink Armenia. Pink is a community-based LGBT+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and other people with non-heteronormative identities) organization, which means the organization has been established by LGBT+ community, serves and supports the needs of the community, and promotes the LGBT persons’ human rights protection process and advocates for the change of public policy around LGBT+ issues.
Main Job Responsibilities

Main Job Responsibilities
- Providing legal counseling to beneficiaries and their family members (in-person, via phone, or online)
- Protecting the rights and interests of beneficiaries in state and non-state institutions
- Preparing and submitting applications, complaints, inquiries, and other documents to relevant public or private institutions in Armenia, and monitoring their progress
- Documenting cases and conducting case analysis
- Participating in staff meetings and submitting regular reports
- Carrying out other tasks in line with the organization's strategic plan, mission, and objectives
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Higher education in Law
- Having attorney licence is an asset
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of Armenian; knowledge of English and Russian is an asset
- Ability to prepare reports and documentation
- Good time management and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and other standard software
- Ability to respond quickly and act promptly in urgent situations
- Good negotiation and communication skills
