The GEDSI Adviser will be responsible for developing and delivering a SPRING Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) Action Plan. S/he will work closely with the national, full-time GEDSI Lead within the SPRING core team, and collaborate closely with other team members and advisers working on disability, social inclusion, indigenous participation, and other relevant elements of the program.
SCOPE OF ASSIGNMENT
The contractor will provide the following services:- Develop a work plan for delivery of the GEDSI Action Plan within the specified timeframe
- Undertake desk-based research on the specific context in which SPRING will be operating, including political economy analysis
- Develop and deliver a stakeholder engagement plan, in consultation with the Team Leader and DFAT
- Conduct in depth gender analysis (including gendered political economy analysis) at national and potentially subnational levels (pending selection of the 3 SPRING subnational focus areas), ensuring close coordination with other team members engaging in relevant parallel data collection and analysis activities, and where possible collaborating to develop a common data collection plan.
- Engage with key program personnel in the design of the Action Plan, to ensure that it aligns with and contributes to program objectives and other program strategies and approaches.
- Develop a draft GEDSI Action Plan in line with document parameters as agreed with the Team Leader (length, structure, etc.).
- Respond to SPRING team and DFAT feedback on draft GEDSI Action Plan, integrating this into a final document under guidance from the Team Leader.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
The GEDSI Adviser will have the following skills, knowledge, and experience:- Relevant tertiary qualifications in gender analysis, gender mainstreaming, international development and/or gender program management or other relevant fields.
- At least 10 years of relevant GEDSI experience and expertise supporting transformational GEDSI through GEDSI mainstreaming and gender-specific projects and programs Southeast Asia (Philippines experience desirable).
- Experience with development and quality assurance of DFAT programmatic GEDSI strategies.
- Demonstrated experience in integrating GEDSI in social development or similar large-scale programs, preferably in Southeast Asia.
- Strong strategic research abilities and excellent written skills to capture and document GEDSI information.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders, including cross-culturally and remotely.

Position Overview:
Noor is seeking a full-time Resource Mobilization Strategist to join the team. In this role, you will envision and implement Noor’s fundraising strategy, and will hold responsibility for the identification of funding opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a deep commitment to gender, racial, economic and climate justice; and knowledge of anti-democratic, anti-rights and anti-feminist movements and tactics.
Major Responsibilities:
- In dialogue with Noor’s team, develop and implement Noor’s fundraising strategy.
- Working alongside programmatic staff, identify and create opportunities for donor education around far right and anti-rights trends, and mutual learning between movements and donors on these issues.
- Identify current and future funding opportunities, matching to program needs.

Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organisation that advances children’s rights and equality for girls.
Our core areas of work for SRHR are:

Requirements
The objective of this consultancy is to develop a fully-fledged M&E Framework, based on the existing M&E guide, in alignment with the recommendations outlined in the learning review. Since the development of the CtM, global M&E frameworks for Plan Internationals Area’s of Global Distinctiveness (AOGD)1has been developed. This includes outcomes and indicators for sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). When developing the CtM framework there is a need to be able to link the results of the CtM to Plans internal M&E system for SRHR using the global SRHR AoGD M&E framework.
Project Deliverables:
1. Develop a Theory of Change for CtM
2.Revise the outcomes of CtM
3. Develop an integrated M&E framework and simple implementation strategy
4. Together with Global and Regional SRHR Advisers/Specialists and Regional Learning and Development advisors, review and agree on their role in supporting the M&E of CtM
5. Develop a tracking tool to support Regional SRHR Advisers/Specialists to record and monitor implementation of CtM workshops in their region
6. Review Plan’s existing SRHR capacity assessment tools
Consultant Profile:
• Educational qualifications in international health, Public Health, or relevant social science or research discipline
• Strong SRHR background and a strong understanding of young people´s sexual wellbeing
• Practical experience in the development sector including programming and M&E at the field level and preferably across multiple countries and cultures
• Previous experience developing large organisational and/or global M&E frameworks including NGO
• Knowledge and experience in designing and implementing M&E framework and tools using behavioural change models

The Role
The Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) Policy Officer will undertake a range of GEB tasks, working with either the Disability Equity and Rights Section (DIS) or the Gender Equality Strategic Budget and Investment Section (GBL). Successful candidates are required to perform at the APS6/ EL1 level.
Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):

• Ejercer el liderazgo y la gestión de equipos acorde con los valores de Fondo Semillas, con un énfasis en el liderazgo colaborativo para trabajar de forma constructiva y efectiva con su par en la Codirección, y para fomentar el crecimiento profesional y las habilidades de colaboración del equipo de Fondo Semillas.
• Supervisar la adecuada y pertinente implementación de las estrategias de financiamiento de los movimientos feministas y antipatriarcales en México.
PERFIL DEL PUESTO
Preparación académica, conocimientos requeridos, y experiencia:
• Licenciatura en áreas sociales, y Maestría deseable.
• Entrenamiento formal y profesional en gestión organizacional y posicionamiento político de causas feministas.
• Inglés avanzado con capacidad para trabajar en entornos totalmente bilingües.
• Manejo de software incluyendo Microsoft, aplicaciones de correo electrónico, mensajería, teleconferencias, colaboración virtual, etc.
• Experiencia profesional de mínimo cinco años en organizaciones de sociedad civil enfocadas en promover la agenda feminista en México, o en instituciones o sectores que le hayan permitido construir habilidades críticas para liderar el fondo de mujeres más importante de México.
• Experiencia en gestión estratégica y operativa, incluyendo roles de liderazgo en alguna organización, la contratación y supervisión de equipos diversos y multidisciplinarios, el cumplimiento de obligaciones fiscales y legales, así como de relaciones colaborativas con órganos de gobierno.

La Dirección de Equidad de Género e Inclusión Social se enfoca poner a las personas en el centro de nuestro que hacer y en asegurar la equidad procedimental y distributiva de forma transversal. El trabajo se apoya en 4 pilares: 1) fortalecimiento de capacidades, 2) gestión del conocimiento, 3) apoyo en el diseño y evaluación de indicadores con perspectiva de género dentro de las 3 transiciones humanas (Energía, Ciudades, Alimentos, Tierra y Agua) 4) generación de alianzas estratégicas con donantes y contrapartes. Cambio climático y el enfoque GESI es un eje importante de trabajo.Requerimientos:En coordinación con la directora de Equidad de Género e Inclusión Social de WRI se requiere apoyo para realizar las siguientes actividades:- Revisión de literatura y redacción de documentos
- Planeación y apoyo logístico para reuniones y talleres de capacitación a equipos técnicos
- Elaboración de materiales y presentaciones
El intern/practicante ganará experiencia en:
Conocer la evolución de las políticas nacionales e internacionales con enfoque de género y equidad social vinculadas con el desarrollo sostenible y la transición justa, fortalecerá sus capacidades de gestión de proyectos socio-ambientales, desarrollará una mirada crítica ante los proyectos y podrá aportar una perspectiva informada sobre el tema.
Requisitos:
- Estar cursando los últimos semestres de la licenciatura en ciencias sociales o ambientales principalmente: ciencias políticas, biología, relaciones Internacionales, economía, comunicación, sociología, antropología social, entre otras.
Requerimientos deseables:
- 6 meses de experiencia laboral en organizaciones de la sociedad civil, gobierno o una carta de intención explicando por que es el/la candidata ideal.
- 80% de inglés (oral, lectura y escritura)
- Conocimiento de temas de medio ambiente, sustentabilidad y género.
