Climate & Environmental justice Movement buildingThe Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation has defended women’s rights since 1993. For every woman’s right to be safe and to be heard. Today we are one of the world’s leading women’s rights organisations, working directly in areas affected by war and conflict to strengthen women’s influence and power. We work closely together with over 150 local partner organisations across 20 countries to end violence against women, reach lasting peace and close the gender gap once and for all. The future is equal. And together, we are change.
About the job
Kvinna till Kvinna has been supporting women’s rights in the Great Lakes region since 2009. With the launch of this programme, we are expanding our cross-regional collaboration at a time when cooperation across borders is increasingly vital for peace, climate justice, and women’s participation.

This includes leading programme planning, monitoring, and risk management, as well as partner selection and ongoing collaboration. You will also manage sub-granting to women-led organisations, supporting both advocacy efforts and grassroots initiatives in DRC, Uganda, and Rwanda.
While the role does not include line management responsibilities, you will guide the daily work of staff engaged in the programme across the two regional offices and work closely with colleagues at Head Office in Stockholm.
Required skills
- At least a bachelor’s degree in Peace and Conflict, Sociology, Political Science, Public Administration, Development studies, or similar. A Master’s Degree in related studies will be an added advantage.

- Experience in strategic budgeting, financial forecasting and monthly budget follow-ups;
- Excellent writing, reporting and communication skills in English
