Movement buildingWhy work for us?This is a unique opportunity to play a leading role in helping transform digital fundraising and engagement at CARE International UK as we begin implementing our five-year fundraising strategy. CIUK has significantly scaled and improved our digital programme in recent years. However, the way we are setup means the individuals and teams leading digital activity face challenges due to processes, capacity and silos that make transformative growth difficult. Taking a holistic view of our digital programme and with your expertise and experience, you’ll help us build on the activity that’s working well, while identifying areas of lower potential to scale back. At its core, the role is about using digital to deliver greater income, influence, and impact for the women and communities we work alongside around the world. At CARE International UK we affirm the dignity, potential and contribution of participants, donors, partners and staff. Our actions are consistent with our mission. We are honest and transparent in what we do and say and accept responsibility for our collective and individual actions. We work together effectively to serve the larger community. We constantly challenge ourselves to the highest levels of learning and performance to achieve greater impact. We understand that everyone has commitments and welcome flexible working arrangements.About youYou’ll be a strategic, collaborative, creative facilitator who can spark innovative thinking across teams. You can convene the right people and support CIUK to develop bold, audience-focused digital ideas. You’ll be motivated by the opportunity to help us rapidly scale up our digital programme and a keen self-starter with lots of enthusiasm.About the roleYou will work cross-functionally to break down silos, develop an integrated digital strategy, and rapidly scale up our digital activity to meet our fundraising growth ambitions. You’ll set the bar for digital best practice and champion this across the organisation; sharing learning, helping outline a roadmap to becoming a digital-first organisation. You’ll support across teams with testing and innovating new products and propositions. This role will require a digital strategist with experience across the mix – from mobilisation and campaigning to fundraising and supporter experience. A keen eye for analysis and an audience-led approach, enables you to look beyond any one function or objective to drive growth; be that income, impact or engagement. You’ll have ample experience and/or knowledge of a wide variety of digital platforms and tools including CMS systems, Google Analytics, PowerBi, Impact Stack/Engaging Networks, MailChimp, social media and Adwords.*When clicking on “Apply”, you will be redirected to the original job announcement and details

Gender-based violence (GBV)Background and Context of the Project
The Strategic Initiative for Women in the Horn of Africa (SIHA Network) is a regional coalition of civil society organizations operating across Sudan, South Sudan, Somalia, Somaliland, Ethiopia, Djibouti, and Uganda.
PURPOSE OF THE EVALUATION
The final evaluation aims to assess the effectiveness of the Justice for Women project in advancing access to fair, gender-responsive justice systems for women and girls in Sudan and Ethiopia. - Enhancing the delivery of survivor-centered legal services through trained lawyers, paralegals, and community legal support structures.
The evaluation is also expected to explore how the project contributed to dismantling systemic legal and social barriers that prevent women from accessing justice, and how it amplified the voices and leadership of female legal actors across the Horn of Africa.
Additionally, the evaluation will:
- Identify key challenges and lessons learned, particularly in navigating the evolving context of the war in Sudan.
- Highlight promising practices that can inform future feminist legal empowerment initiatives across the region.

Indigenous rights Generic (e.g. 'gender focal point' role Gender equality and Social inclusion (GESI)Description du projet ou contexte
Ghana’s cultural and creative sectors are undergoing significant transformation, driven by policy and market shifts. The government’s recent adoption of the revised National Cultural Policy and the “Play Ghana” agenda are positioning local content at the center of growth, while AfCFTA opens new regional trade opportunities for creative goods and services. Digital innovation, such as music and film streaming platforms, online art marketplaces, and virtual cultural showcases, is expanding global reach for Ghanaian creators. Green practices in fashion, crafts, and heritage preservation are also gaining traction. These trends offer considerable potential for entrepreneurial growth, but without intentional inclusion strategies, they risk further marginalizing women entrepreneurs.
To address these challenges, the Ghana Green & Digital PSD programme — co-funded by the EU, the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and implemented by RVO, UNCDF, and Expertise France — aims to support the emergence of a more inclusive, greener, and digitalised private sector. One of its specific interventions involves identifying and supporting a select number of entrepreneurs from two key sectors: CCI and Health/Pharma in their digitalization as well as in their quest to make their venture greener and more sustainable.
This inception study is therefore a critical first step in delivering this support. It will map and analyse both formal and informal entrepreneurial (MSMEs, start-ups) ecosystem in Ghana, assess gaps and opportunities for sectoral specialisation, and recommend concrete pathways for targeted women entrepreneurs under the project. The findings will directly inform the operationalisation of project activities related to Output 3 of the programme’s logframe: “Build capacity of entrepreneurs to apply digital solutions that would enhance business growth of MSMEs.” And more especially, dive into a more suitable capacity building service offering targeted to women & minority groups entrepreneurs, for their own digital and sustainable transformation.
Profil souhaité· Consulting firm or Consultant with a minimum of 5 years' experience in women entrepreneurship (especially in the CCI sectors) analysis, capacity building, and innovation programme design in Sub-Saharan Africa or Ghana· Firms without prior experience in Ghana are eligible, provided they demonstrate a clear strategy for working in collaboration with Ghanaian actors (e.g. national consultants, partner organisations, or research institutions)· Demonstrated expertise in green and digital entrepreneurship· Proven track record in working with or assessing ESOs (e.g. incubators, accelerators, hubs)· Sectoral experience in Creative and Cultural Industries is strongly preferred· Experience conducting donor-funded diagnostics, capacity assessments, or feasibility studies· Fluency in English required; knowledge of French is a plus
Team Requirements:· 1 Lead expert (10+ years in entrepreneurship/innovation ecosystems)· 1 Junior analyst or research assistant for data collection and processing
