Scope of work
The consultant will undertake a desk-based review and analysis and use this to create a clear and concise report for influencing the UK Government
1 . The review will draw primarily on Countdown 2030 Europe research
2 supplemented with a targeted review of additional sources and case studies alongside 3-4 key informant interviews as needed.
The outputs should:
• Summarise key SRHR financing mechanisms, including innovative financing models:- o Including but not limited to Global Financing Facility, UNFPA Supplies, including its various initiatives such European Investment Bank, Bridge Fund, Match Fund and Compact agreements, IDA 21 and other World Bank related initiatives, Debt-2-Health swaps, results-based financing such as development bond initiatives, volume guarantees.
• Analyse the UK Government’s current and potential engagement with each mechanism.
• Include 2-3 short case studies of successful examples and good practice by other donor governments of SRHR innovative financing and how these could be replicated by the UK Government and innovative finaincing by the UK Government in other areas eg Education or Climate.
• Highlight implications for global equity, particularly with respect to shifting power from high-income to low- and middle-income countries and local actors.- o This should include how SRHR financing mechanisms can and are contributing to the Lusaka agenda.
• Provide an anti-racist and decolonial critique of the mechanisms, including assessment of governance structures and accountability and recommendations for the UK Government based on these.
• Produce high-level, actionable recommendations for the UK Government
Deliverable outputs
• Concise Report: Synthesis of Countdown 2030 Europe research and additional desk-based research, contextualised for the UK Government and a set of clear recommendations for the UK Government (approx. 10–12 pages).
Outputs:- a. Inception proposal (outlining methodology, detailed workplan and proposed report structure, for review)
- b. Draft report V1
- c. Review of subsequent drafts as agreed

Movement buildingThe Commission on Population and Development (CPD) is held every year to assess, review and monitor the implementation of the Programme of Action (PoA) of the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD).
The 59th session of the CPD (CPD59) will be held on April 13 – April 17, 2026 at the United Nations (UN) Headquarters in New York, bringing together governments, UN agencies and civil society organisations. The theme of the session is, ‘Population, technology and research in the context of sustainable development’.
In this context, regional advocacy briefs will serve as critical tools to influence global policy dialogue by showcasing region-specific challenges, solutions, and policy recommendations in the intersections of population dynamics, SRHR, technology, and research in the context of sustainable development. The briefs will be used to support International Sexual and Reproductive Rights Coalition (ISRRC) members with government advocacy in the lead-up to and during CPD59, including through direct engagement with delegations, events and consultations.
As ISRRC regional co-convener of Asia and the Pacific, the Asian-Pacific Resource and Research Centre for Women (ARROW) is looking for a consultant with thematic expertise to produce the regional briefs in the Asia-Pacific region in consultation with the regional members.
Objectives of the Consultancy
The consultant will develop a 3–6 page regional advocacy brief for Asia and the Pacific that:
Analyses intersections of population dynamics, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), technology, and research in the context of sustainable development.
Highlights good practices, innovative programs, and lessons learned from the region.
Collects regional voices and provides actionable policy recommendations to inform CPD59 deliberations.
Scope of work
Conduct a desk review of relevant regional literature, data, and policy documents to inform the regional brief.
Engage and support regional consultations and engage regional stakeholders to inform and validate the process and brief in January
Identify region-specific trends, examples of good practices and challenges in the intersection of population dynamics, technology, and research.
Develop actionable recommendations targeted to relevant stakeholder groups based on the consultations and desk review
Prepare the regional advocacy brief (3–6 pages) that include infographics, case studies, or data snapshots where appropriate.
Provide a detailed presentation summarising key insights and share all the literature review and background documents.
Expected Deliverables
Draft and finalised regional advocacy brief
Presentation slides summarising key insights and findings from the regional briefs.

This year-long cohort program offers sponsored mentorship and select coursework through the Center for Global Women’s Health and Gender Equity (CGWHGE) at the Johns Hopkins University to practitioners, professionals, and scholars engaged in gender equity work, including those focused on gender-based violence (GBV), particularly in low- and middle-income settings.
The part-time fellowship builds skills in evidence generation, synthesis/analysis, and translation for gender equity and GBV. Fellows complete select coursework offered through Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (BSPH), and receive ongoing mentorship from CGWHGE faculty, within a cohort experience designed for networking and professional development, including one in-person cohort gatherings throughout the year. Ongoing activities are virtual, with select in-person convenings to enable connectivity. Fellowship scholars will complete a mini-project focused on gender equity/GBV, such as secondary analysis of survey data, or evidence synthesis, with mentorship and data analysis support from CGWHGE faculty. Estimated time commitment: 10 hours weekly on average, up to 20 hours/week during course weeks, plus travel for convenings.
Ideal candidates include but are not limited to those working in roles including program monitoring and evaluation; community researcher; practitioners; and PhD students working in low- or middle-income contexts. Applicants should have some experience in this area and should demonstrate a need for additional skills in evidence-based gender equity/GBV research, programs and/or policy to accelerate the impact of their work and further their career goals. At this time, all fellowship activities are conducted in English language.
Eligibility
- Must be from and currently living/working in a low- or middle-income country
- Current master’s students are ineligible
- Must be currently working in the gender/GBV field, or studying in a PhD or Postdoc or Junior Faculty position focused on gender/ GBV
- Applicants should demonstrate some research experience, monitoring and evaluation and/or exposure to statistical software (STATA, R etc.).
- Must have professional working proficiency in both written and spoken English
The scholarship will cover the participant’s travel costs, course registration, and faculty mentoring. No compensation will be offered for the participant’s time. Key responsibilities:
The FWACA Partnerships Coordinator will be responsible for the following:
● Develop an outreach strategy to collaborate with various regional stakeholders, promoting our digital platforms through both offline and online mechanisms to achieve maximum reach and impact.● Devise and implement innovative approaches to promote WFD’s digital services and products, such as our eLearning courses, chatbot, counseling and referral services, etc.● Implement FWACA grant activities – Create internal workplans, ensure key deliverables and activities are on track, manage grant budgets, evaluate progress and analyze findings, communicate progress internally and externally through calls and regular written reports.● Oversee the design and development of clear, compelling, and varied marketing and promotional products for different stakeholders and audiences.● Periodically review and advise on platform communications campaigns and support with country/regional-specific content ideation.● Identify content creators we can partner with to increase the reach of our online content and drive traffic to the three platforms.● Support and facilitate the logistics activities of the grant, particularly in relation to procuring external vendor services.● Create effective ways to track, measure, and report on activity/project metrics and successes.

Under direct supervision of the Project Analyst for Economic Empowerment of Women and overall supervision of the Team Leader of the Gender Equality Portfolio, the incumbent will carry out the following main tasks:
- Provide support to implementation of day-to-day project activities
- Provide relevant administrative and logistical assistance in implementation of the project activities
- Perform regular financial tasks necessary for the successful and timely implementation of project activities
I. Provide support to implementation of day-to-day project activities- Draft routine correspondence and reports from oral instructions, previous correspondence or other available information sources, in accordance with the standard office procedures, and ensure appropriate follow-up; write minutes from the meetings; provide translation/interpretation services into English and vice versa, when needed

II. The VIE/301 – Climate Adaptation and Resilience Project (GCF project code: SAP040) aims to catalyze investments in climate change adaptation through several key initiatives. This includes enhancing the province’s Early Warning System (EWS) and supporting locally-led adaptation efforts by mainstreaming climate considerations into development planning, monitoring, ecosystem-based adaptation (EBA), and climate-resilient agricultural practices. The project will be structured around the following components:- Strengthening the institutional framework to support risk-based decision-making, climate change adaptation planning, investment, and monitoring.
- Enhancing the resilience of ecosystems and the livelihoods of local men and women.
- Scaling up climate-resilient practices and financial mechanisms.
2. OBJECTIVESThe ESSGE will uphold LuxDev's mission of capacity building, ensuring adherence to the agency's Quality Manual and Green Climate Fund's ESS guidance in all process. This position provides strategic guidance on gender integration, environmental and social safeguarding, and stakeholder engagement to facilitate the inclusive and sustainable implementation of Project VIE/301.This role will engage with community, governement agencies, NGOs, farmer associations, and other stakeholders to promote gender equality and social inclusion throughout project implementation.The ESSGE's responsibilities span all three project components and involve close coordination with Project VIE/039 – Finance for Resilience to enhance gender-responsive climate adaptation strategies.4. SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE JOBEducation- An advanced degree in gender studies, social sciences, environmental studies, development studies or related fields.
General Experience- At least fifteen (15) years of professional experience in international development or non-governmental organizations.
- At least 10 years working on gender mainstreaming, women’s empowerment, and/or work with marginalized populationsenvironmental and social safeguarding (ESS), and community engagement.
Specific Experience and skills- Proven track record in developing action plans, strategies, and tools that promote gender equality and social inclusion and environmental and social safeguards within the contexts of climate adaptation and resilient development.
- Experience with GCF or other international climate funds is desirable.
- Familiarity with Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) frameworks, including the development collection, and analysis of indicators for systemic change, particularly related to Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI).
- Proven experience with participatory stakeholder engagement methodologies and experience in capacity building and training for diverse stakeholders, specifically concerning gender, disability, and social inclusion issues.

THE ROLE
The post is based in the Afghanistan Country Office, as part of the Programme team, reporting to the Head of the Gender, Protection and Inclusion team under the overall supervision of the Head of Programme. The successful candidate will operate with a high degree of independence to ensure programme and policy objectives are fully achieved, contributing to performance improvement through complex analytical and operational work. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)
Strategic and Technical Support: Lead the integration of gender equality, protection, and environmental and social safeguards across WFP Afghanistan’s programmes and operations, ensuring compliance with WFP policies and humanitarian principles.
Policy development: support in development of key policies and SOPs including in relation to protection risk management and, where required, inclusive staff policies and standards including amongst WFP partners and vendors.
Analysis and Risk Management: Conduct gender and protection analyses, conflict sensitivity assessments, and stakeholder mapping; identify risks and opportunities and apply gender and protection lenses to programme design and implementation.
Monitoring and Reporting: Ensure systematic integration of ESS, gender and, protection considerations into monitoring and evaluation frameworks; oversee data collection, reporting, and lessons learned; and ensure issues are captured through feedback mechanisms.
Networking and Coordination: Build and maintain partnerships with UN agencies, INGOs, civil society, and coordination platforms; represent WFP in interagency fora to advance gender and protection objectives.

The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) has received financing from the African Development Bank toward the cost of the Technologies for African Agricultural Transformation (TAAT) and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this grant to payments under the contract for the Consultant to consolidate country success stories and packaging of gender-sensitive info-packs and audio-visual materials for TAAT II Agricultural Innovation Platforms. IITA signed a sub-agreement with the Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA) as implementing partner for the CDTO Compact.
The assignment is to engage a consultant to: Audit and consolidate existing materials – Review inception outputs, draft messages, and templates already developed for West/Central and East Africa; Fill gaps –Address missing elements, particularly gender responsiveness, language accessibility, and practical last-mile usability; Package info packs and audiovisuals—Finalize materials (pamphlets, posters, videos, podcasts, radio jingles, animations, etc.) in user-friendly formats; Validation and refinement – Organize webinars and participatory review sessions with technology compacts, IPs, and selected users; and Dissemination and publicity – Support rollout of materials through FARA platforms, IPs, social/digital media, and during an African extension conference side event.
The duration of the assignment is 30-man days; the selected consultant will report to the CDTO Compact Coordinator/Leader. The assignment is expected to commence in February, 2026.
Qualifications
The selected consultant should possess:
- A minimum of M.Sc. degree in agriculture, agricultural extension, knowledge management, communications, or related field;
- At least 5 years’ experience in knowledge packaging, agricultural extension, or communication for development; Proven record in developing audio-isual and print KM products;
- Strong background in gender-responsive extension communication;
- Ability to simplify technical information for diverse audiences;
- A track record of writing reports evidenced by publication records as books and chapters in books, conference papers, and journal articles;
- Fluency in English or French (proficiency in both is a major asset); and Familiarity with TAAT program and FARA KM platforms.

Responsibilities- Mainstream MSF OCBA’s safeguarding approach for emergency preparedness and response, and deploying as needed as part of the Emergency Response Team to ensure safeguarding is integrated at all stages and points in our emergency responses
- Conduct/support the mission and the projects to carry out safeguarding risk assessments, propose key priorities and monitor the implementation of measures aiming at preventing/reducing the occurrence of risk.

Human Resources Management- Support recruitment of program staff to (RMNCAH) positions as per the program demand and needs.
- Maintain updated job descriptions, conduct interviews, orient new staff on the IRC’s RMNCAH best practices and the program.
Coordination and Representation- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders - including community leaders, NGOs, UN agencies, community-based organizations, and other IRC sectors to enhance cooperation and coordination.
- Ensure that information from coordination meetings is shared internally and with other sectors, as appropriate.
Monitoring, Evaluation, Technology, Accountability, and Learning (METAL)- Supporting the RMNCAH field teams and working with METAL to ensure proper RMNCAH data recording in the IRC supported health facilities, support the compilation of data and generation of quality reports on a regular and timely manner.
Administrative Duties- Support the Health Coordinator to oversee administrative aspects of the program including, but not limited to, writing job descriptions, interviewing and hiring staff.
- Other duties as required by their supervisor or designate.
Qualifications- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Midwifery or Medicine & Surgery
- Discipline/ Specialization : Reproductive Health
- Professional Certification/regulation : 1. Nursing 2. Medicine and Surgery / 2.
- Additional training in Reproductive health a MUST have
- Experience : 10 years
- Supervision : 3 to 4 years
- Experience implementing reproductive health service delivery in complex emergency settings and health services for displaced populations.
- Experience implementing RMNCAH programs involving capacity building of health care workers and other system strengthening interventions/projects in health facilities and at community level.
- Experience of working with Govt., communities, INGOs, and donor agencies. Strong understanding of relevant networks and consortiums.
- Skills and Competencies : 1. Sexual Reproductive health / 2. Emergency obstetric and newborn care / 3. Health care providers capacity building 4. Project management / 5. proposal writing / 6. Grants management.
- Excellent skills in quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis
- Excellent organizing, facilitating, presentation, and communication skills, including good report writing in English.

About FVREE
We are the specialist family violence service in Melbourne’s Inner and Outer East. We work alongside victim survivors in responding to family violence.
We provide access and initial response services in partnership with other agencies through The Orange Doors in Croydon and Box Hill, and case management services through our support and recovery team in Ringwood. Being part of the solution is important to us. We work to change attitudes to gender equality to prevent violence from happening in the first place and equip the community to respond to disclosures of abuse. We do through our prevention and education work nationally.
We apply an intersectional lens to all of our work. Our approach is trauma informed, strengths based, and person centered. About the Opportunity
As an Advocate in our Support and Recovery team you will work with victim survivors referred through the Orange Door and tailor a support plan to their needs. Alongside practical things like continued risk assessment, safety planning and support to navigate the court system, you’ll work with victim survivors to hold hope, validate experience, and build sense of agency and self-belief.
About you
You might be:- A person with lived experience of family violence wanting to use your expertise to help others
- Studying social work or another qualification that meets the minimum mandatory qualification requirements (more details under Requirements)
- An experienced family violence practitioner wanting to join a progressive specialist service.
- Working in social services like mental health, homelessness or AOD and looking for a fresh opportunity

Requirements
