KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Project Work
a. Set up and deliver a range of services focused on supporting improved behaviour, wellbeing and engagement in schools, and successful transfer from primary into secondary school.
b. Set up programmes to replicate the work outlined above, so that other practitioners can develop their skills in supporting improved behaviour, wellbeing and engagement in schools, and successful transitions into secondary school.
c. Support development of further innovative projects in line with FM’s Business Plan.
d. Consult with boys and young men to ensure their views are heard and that they inform the development of the services.
2. Record Keeping and Evaluation
a. To keep accurate written records of sessions in line with open access procedures.
b. Provide regular progress reports to schools on the work as requested by line management.
c. Comply with FM’s monitoring and evaluation processes to ensure that all outcomes of service delivery is effective. d. Comply with FM’s data sharing policy when handling service users’ data.
3. Collaboration and Teamwork a. Work in partnership with other relevant projects to deliver services. b. Work in partnership with other relevant practitioners and agencies as appropriate to raise awareness of issues that lead to conflict in a range of settings including, transition stages, racism, gang culture.
4. General
a. Ensure all services reflect inclusivity and diversity.
b. Represent FM in a range of settings as appropriate.
c. To carry out other related duties as may from time to time be required to fulfil the mission of FM.
Qualifications
Relevant professional qualification or experience (Essential)
Experience of working across one or more of the following areas: education, health, youth work, criminal justice, parenting, conflict management.
x Experience of working with boys and young men across different ages and ethnicities.
x Experience of delivering workshops to young people in group and /or one-to-one settings
x Experience / Knowledge of conflict/behaviour management techniques.
x Experience of setting up services in a community setting.
x Experience of monitoring and evaluating the impact of service delivery.
x Experience of working in a multi-agency and a team setting.
x Experience of working with diverse communities, including those that are disadvantaged and marginalised.

The role:
This leadership role will provide grant-making and strategic support capacity to the AFF team, which currently consists of 7 people reporting to the Director of A Fairer Future. The role will take on existing relationships in the form of a portfolio of larger grants at various points in their funding journey. This person will pick up these relationships and ensure continuity as well as assessing new applications. This role will take a lead on strategic initiatives, driving impact in the Gender Justice and Children and Young People’s Rights priorities. Committed to social justice, the candidate will be ambitious to help create change using Esmée’s full range of tools and approaches. This role will be responsible for informing, influencing and monitoring the implementation of the AFF strategy and programme, including developing and assessing proposals for activities, leading on the delivery of impact, and maintaining external networks to provide strategic guidance to the Foundation.
Convening collaborations, commissioning research and mobilising networks to create change will be core aspects of this role in addition to supporting other team members with expertise relating to the two sectors. This person will be responsible for managing the larger grant relationships throughout out the grant cycle, capturing and embedding learning along the way. They will also be responsible for site visits and facilitating online discussions with organisations, as well as representing the Foundation at sector forums and events concentrating on the AFF priority areas.

The person:
The successful candidate will have substantial grant-making experience in addition to having knowledge of the Children and Young People and/or Gender Justice sectors, perhaps gained through work in the voluntary or local authority sector, or through another funder. Highly organised, intellectually curious and pragmatic, this person will be able to unpick complex information and will be confident and experienced in assessing grant applicants’ financial information. They will understand the charity funding world and importantly, the challenges faced by marginalised communities across the UK in the face of widespread inequity. Sexual & reproductive rights (SRHR) HealthThe Youth Ambassador for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, Gender Equality and Bodily Autonomy (YASRHR) programme is a partnership between CHOICE for Youth & Sexuality and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA). The program gives young people a voice and a platform to advocate for their sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and for meaningful and inclusive youth participation (MIYP) in all areas of decision-making: national, regional and international. As YASRHR, you have a say in the MoFA's efforts in the field of SRHR and gender equality. You will ensure that the work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is more in line with the reality of young people and use your role to promote SRHR, gender equality, and bodily autonomy for young people worldwide. You will build bridges between young people around the world and the MoFA, giving young people access to policy-making and enabling the Ministry to draw on the ideas, knowledge, and networks of young people and gain a better understanding of their experiences and perspectives.
As YASRHR, you will:
- Gather input from diverse youth in the Netherlands and abroad on SRHR and gender equality, through focus groups and direct conversations.- Act as a bridge between young people and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, advising on policies, speeches, and strategies.- Focus on one or two SRHR/gender equality themes and work toward concrete results.- Represent youth perspectives at national and international events (e.g., UN conferences), in collaboration with the Ambassador for Women’s Rights and Gender Equality.- Stay informed on global and national developments in SRHR, gender equality, and meaningful youth participation.- Build and maintain networks with NGOs, activists, experts, and policymakers.- Work together with the Ministry’s ambassadors and staff on youth participation, SRHR, and gender equality.- Raise awareness and visibility of SRHR, gender equality, and youth participation via social media, events, and publications.

Gender-based violence (GBV)1. Background
The Sexual Violence Research Initiative (SVRI) is the largest global network for advancing research on violence against women (VAW), violence against children (VAC) and other forms of violence driven by gender inequality. The SVRI brings together a diverse group of actors aiming to achieve a world free of violence against women and violence against children through ensuring innovative responses and prevention programmes are informed by and build on existing evidence, with a focus on low and middle-income countries.
Our Principles

We are intentional in centering self and collective care and kindness in our organisation and the field. 2. Purpose of the Engagement
The SVRI seeks to appoint an independent, suitably qualified audit firm to conduct its annual external audits in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA) 700, including expressing an opinion on whether the financial statements present fairly, in all material respects, the financial position and performance of SVRI NPC for the fiscal years ending 28 February 2026 to 28 February 2030. The auditors should assess the organisation’s compliance with the provisions of the Companies Act and other applicable regulatory authorities e.g. SARS in South Africa.
3. Scope of Work
The auditor’s scope will include, but is not limited to:
Audit of Financial Statements of the SVRI in conformity with International Financial Reporting Standards for Small and Medium Enterprises (“IFRS for SMEs”) and International Standards on Auditing (“ISA”).
The audit will also include, where relevant, Agreed Upon Procedures that will be guided by our donors’ guidelines, scope and requirements.
4. Deliverables & Timelines
Audited Financial Statements with auditor’s opinion as per ISA 700.
Report to Management and Those Charged with Governance with recommendations.
Management representation letter.
Where Agreed Upon Procedures (AUPs) are concerned, reports in relation to the procedures in line with donor requirements.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the CREATES specialist for the application of the ESMS and Gender Principles, this position is responsible for ensuring that ESMS and Gender procedures, standards and principles are applied across all phases of the project implementation. The GESS specialist will lead the sustainability framework for the active projects, responsible for implementing the crucial cross cutting functions of the project ensuring that all activities of the project are socially and environmentally sustainable and comply with Denmark and IUCN Policies and Standards related to Gender, Environmental and Social Safeguards, and Indigenous People Frameworks.
Key responsibilities include the preparation of ESMS screening reports for projects, advising proponents on safeguard-related improvements of project design, support the preparation of ESIAs and safeguard documents and coordination of the ESMS clearance process. The specialist will also provide ongoing implementation oversight to guarantee that ESMS requirements are complied with. Where a safeguard related grievance is raised, he/she will be instrumental in solving the matter proactively. He/she will also build ESMS capacity to enhance ESMS compliant and Gender transformative project design and ensure effective implementation of the risk management strategies. This involves coaching and training of project team members and partners.
This position will also monitor the application of safeguard tools, distil lessons learned and support the regional ESMS Coordinator in system development and refinements to increase the system’s efficiency.
The GEES specialist will provide support to the project team (technical and MEL), partner organizations partners, private sector entities, and other stakeholders on effective integration of cross cutting (women, youth and environment) considerations beyond compliance, by identifying opportunities to add value to the system changes, transformation and paradigm shifts that lead to long term impact and sustainability of CREATES.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Master’s degree in social sciences, Social Work, Gender/Women Studies, Development Studies, Community Development, Sociology or related field.
Advanced training in Gender and Development studies.
At least 7 years’ experience in advocacy for gender and ESMS issues and evidence-based results in gender analysis and mainstreaming especially in institutions which deal with climate change, environment and natural resources management.
Significant experience with gender issues and social impacts is required.
Demonstrated experience of working in challenging knowledge-based and results-based environment.
Experience of capacity building and training Development Program
Experience in natural resource management projects, promoting rights-based approaches, improving socio-economic benefits and addressing and managing environmental, social risks or gender matters.

Gender-based violence (GBV)Background
The Global Survivors Fund (GSF) was launched in October 2019 by Dr Denis Mukwege and Nadia Murad, 2018 Nobel Peace Prize laureates. Its mission is to enhance access to reparations for survivors of conflict-related sexual violence around the globe, thus responding to a gap long identified by survivors. GSF acts to provide interim reparative measures in situations where states or other parties are unable or unwilling to meet their responsibilities. GSF advocates for duty bearers as well as the international community to develop reparations programmes. It also guides states and civil society by providing expertise and technical support in designing reparations programmes. GSF’s survivor-centric approach is the cornerstone of its work.
Role Summary
The Project Coordinator for Chad will oversee the smooth implementation of our project seeding the ecosystem for reparation for Sudanese survivors in Chad, including coordination with local and international partners, and the design and scaling-up of programmes for survivors of conflict-related sexual violence. The successful candidate will report to the Regional Coordinator for Africa in close collaboration with the interim reparative measures (IRM) team and will liaise with all GSF units, in particular Finance and Communications. As the Country Lead for Chad, the Project Coordinator will shape the country strategy across three key pillars, including advocacy and technical support: Act, Advocate and Guide.
Position Requirements
• Advanced university degree (master's or equivalent) in law, international relations, political science, sociology, or related discipline;
• At least 6 years of relevant professional experience working on project management, project design, monitoring and evaluation in relation to human rights, humanitarian law, conflict-related sexual violence (CRSV), advocacy, reparations, and/or transitional justice, preferably in Sudan or in conflict context;
• A bachelor’s degree with minimum 8 years of experience in a similar position is considered as equivalent.
• Strong experience in effective team leadership and management, as well as team coordination and conflict resolution;
• Ability to build and sustain strong relationships and effective partnerships across organisations and project locations;
• Solid practical experience working with survivors and victims of conflict-related sexual violence, survivor associations, non-governmental and/or national civil society organisations;
• Strong knowledge of and experience with the survivor-centric approach, and cocreation, in line with existing good practice and guiding principles;

This role is especially exciting and creative at this phase of the fund. We are looking for someone with solid participatory grantmaking and project management experience, and good understanding of processes needed for accountability and community engagement - and who can build from this foundation to shape and implement Numun Fund's grantmaking programme to meet its mission as a feminist activist fund. We are also looking for someone who is curious and excited to build knowledge on resourcing the feminist technology and movement, and translating that into programmatic, community building and resource mobilisation strategies. We are interested to understand your activism and vision for change in this role.
For this role, we are especially looking for applicants located in Africa to complement the current team. We are also looking for applicants with some experience in either tech dev & infra or in grantmaking with a focus on technology interventions to lead our grantmaking strategy in this area. 3. Coordination and Representation- Attend relevant coordination forums inside Syria and represent the IRC protection program in coordination with local communities, government departments, international agencies, local partners and donors as required.
- Collaborate closely with other program departments in order to ensure that linkages between programs are made and programs gain from training best practices.

4.Capacity Development- Coach, train and mentor IP staff and Partners- communicating clear expectations,
- Support manager and senior managers in addressing operational challenges, fostering problem-solving and leadership growth within their teams.
- Socialize program-specific tools / resources / curricula and work with regional Technical Unit specialists to contextualize and adapt global and country-specific materials and approaches.
Work Experience:- 10 years of professional experience in humanitarian response, preferably with experience in protection programming. With at least 5 years in managerial position, including staff management. Demonstrated experience in managing large teams, preferably across multiple project sites. Experience in at least two or more areas of protection (CP, GBV, Protection) is highly desirable.
- Prior experience leading protection work in recovery and development contexts
- Previous experience working on integrated and multi-sectoral programs is preferred
- Experience working in Syria and /or MENA
- Demonstrated expertise in strategy development, donor relations, multi-stakeholder partnerships, capacity building including technical tools and materials, and proposal development.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Ability to travel to field locations within Syria as needed.
