Main responsibilities
The Prevention and Training manager is tasked to:• Develop and implement sensitization and training strategies and tools to prevent and detect abuse, neglect, and inappropriate behavior, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.• Contribute to the development of a comprehensive prevention and detection strategy.• Design, develop, and adapt training (both in-person and online) and other prevention tools, such as:- o Safeguarding and responsible behavior training

Gender-based violence (GBV)Description
The Pacific Community (SPC) is the principal scientific and technical organisation in the Pacific region, supporting development since 1947. We are an international development organisation owned and governed by our 27 country and territory members. The key responsibilities of the role include:
Technical Advice and System Management
- Develop a workplan to implement GBV/DV actions across SPC through the HR Division and Senior Leadership Team – based on the Women in Leadership Program (WIL) 2022 Leadership Audit Recommendations, in collaboration with the WIL Team.
- In collaboration with Legal and Human Resources, lead implementation of the SPC Manual of Staff Policies, Chapter XI, Work Culture and Behaviours, relating to addressing DV, using the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) or similar endorsed framework/guidance notes.
- Develop a case management system to support queries and issues.
- Supports SPC Divisions to train and onboard Wellbeing Focal Points to implement GBV/DV response and protection activities.
Capacity Building – Prevention, Response and Advocacy
- Develop and implement a capacity building development plan for SPC staff, Wellbeing Focal Points, Management and Senior Leadership Team to prevent and respond to GBV/DV internally.
- Design, develop and implement a SPC Respect at Work Program.
- Establish a Directory of GBV/DV Services and referral pathways are current for each SPC office.
Learning Management Schedule
- Coordinate with HRSD and the Women in Leadership Programme to develop and implement gender and GBV/DV training materials for SPC staff, Wellbeing Focal Points, Management and Senior Leadership Team including beginner and refresher curriculums.
- Implement the rollout of mandatory self-paced courses which includes GBV/DV, Child and Vulnerable Adult Protection, Anti-Bullying, Anti-Harassment and Discrimination.
People Management, HR Reporting and Analysis
- Report to the Human Resources Director and conducts internal advocacy to highlight emerging organisational issues related to DV.

The consultant will deliver on the following two activities, in conjunction with the Ladysmith team:
1. A microsimulation and cost-benefit estimation will be conducted to forecast the impacts and fiscal requirements of these proposed interventions under distinct policy environments, enabling policymakers to make informed decisions based on projected effectiveness and budgetary feasibility.

Gender-based violence (GBV)MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in social work, public health, international development, management, gender studies, psychology, or a related field is typically required. An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be accepted.
• Typically 5+ years of progressive experience in projects related to gender or gender-based violence (GBV) prevention and response, or other relevant areas, including a minimum of 2 years in GBV program design and management.
• Demonstrated application of key GBV competencies and commitment to core principles of GBV programming.
• Experience working in humanitarian architecture and knowledge of mandates/roles of donors, UN agencies, and other NGOs.
• In-depth knowledge of standards and guidelines for GBV programming, coordination, and data management.

The PO has supported Pacific Parliaments to reform the parliamentary professional service, provided trainings and activities to strengthen parliamentary library and research services, provided policy support with a focus on SDG advocacy, supported the production of Budget Briefs for members to assist with informed debates on the national budgets, increased opportunities for citizens and CSO engagement in the work of parliament, built capacities for members and staff on substantive and procedural issues as well as skills such as public speaking, dealing with the media, debating, and codes of conduct, supported the development for institutional frameworks to ensure that parliaments have sufficient power and independence to contribute to democratic development.
The IPU collaborates with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) both nationally and globally for over 40 years. In late 2025, the IPU and UNDP have entered into a cooperation agreement to support parliaments in Pacific countries. Within this programme the IPU will support two parliaments to undertake Gender sensitivity self-assessments.
Duties and responsibilities of the consultants:
Under the overall supervision of the Manager, Technical Cooperation Programme, IPU and working with four pacific parliaments, the Consultant will perform the following functions:
- Support implementation of phases 1 and 2 of the assessment process as outlined in Annex 1.
- Provide technical assistance an advice to the Steering Committee
- Where required provide training/coaching to the Pacific Parliament MPs and staff to increase their capacity to undertake the assement
- In-person support to facilitate carrying out of the assesment through the provision of advice, support and comparative experience.
Educational Qualifications (Minimum):
- University degree in social science, political science or law; specialization in gender studies an asset. An advanced degree is highly desirable.

The focus of the study is Punjab Police’s Mahila Mitra (PPMM) program, which created help-desks for women and assigned female officers to staff those desks. The research project examines efforts to “mainstream” the PPMM program within the day-to-day work of the police station through different approaches to training. Using a mixed-methods approach (combining a randomized controlled trial and qualitative research), the study will evaluate the impact of different training modalities (female officers only; female and male officers in different settings; or female and male officers together) on the experiences and job satisfaction of female officers; the perception of female officers within the police; the implementation of the PPPM program, and police responsiveness to women.
Job descriptionQualitative research, including observations of and interviews with PPMM officers, will be integrated in all stages of the study, accompanying and complementing the RCT. The Research Associate’s role requires (a) working closely with the Principal Investigators on designing qualitative instruments, piloting them, and using them to conduct in-depth interviews with frontline officers; (b) qualitative analysis and thematic coding of fieldnotes; and (c) working closely with the stakeholders on overseeing the development of the intervention training materials for a full-scale RCT.The Research Associate will be based in Punjab, working closely with the team of researchers and government counterparts to ensure the successful implementation of both the research and stakeholder engagement components of the project.

Gender-based violence (GBV) PSEA/ SafeguardingSUMMARY OF THE PROJECT
The Southeast Asia Gender Based Violence Prevention Platform ("the Platform") is a regionally led, Australian-funded initiative that aims to address the need and demand for increased investment in, and coordination of, gender-based violence (GBV) primary prevention initiatives in the Southeast Asia region. The Platform aims to strengthen locally-led efforts to prevent GBV through evidence-based advocacy, dialogue, policy and programming in Southeast Asia. The Platform is led by a regionally based Secretariat, in collaboration with Cowater International, Social Development Direct and the Equality Institute, which support organisational development and provide technical support.
Objectives
The objective of the Panel is threefold:
a) To expand the Secretariat’s technical capacity in providing targeted support and expertise to grantees, ensuring the delivery of high-quality grant programmes within the allocated time and budget.
b) To strengthen technical capacity of qualified grantees, to ensure high quality, ethical and safe delivery of their proposed projects.
c) To support grant management, including due diligence and financial management.
Scope of Services The service provider are expected to provide services in one or more of the following areas:
A. Practice-based knowledge/ research: research/ study design, implementation and dissemination.
B. Advocacy: strategy development, design of advocacy tools and approaches, and advocacy implementation.
C. Prevention intervention support: formative research, design, implementation and monitoring of projects related to GBV primary prevention.
D. Gender equality, disability and social inclusion (GEDSI): GEDSI analysis, mainstreaming GEDSI into programming and prevention interventions, with particular focus on disability and LGBTQIA+ inclusion.
E. Safeguarding: including preventing SEAH, do no harm and other ethical safeguards. F. Grant management, including due diligence and fiduciary assessment, grant financial management, and supporting grantees on ethics within their projects.
General Selection Criteria
• Minimum 8 years of technical advisory/ assistance experience of similar nature, related to the specialisation or the area of expertise. • Experience working with CSOs, WROs, or academicians/ researchers.
• Understanding of ethical and safeguarding considerations for GBV research and prevention programming, including requirements for grants, implementation evaluations. Familiarity with DFAT requirements preferred.
• Experience in mainstreaming GEDSI in GBV prevention programming and/or research

Our international network brings together over 250 women’s and civil society organisations across 70 countries.We believe a sustainable and equitable future requires feminist solutions driven by communities at the frontlines of today’s intersecting crises. That is why we work on transformative gender equality, women’s rights, climate justice, and sustainable development.We are now looking for a Junior Project Officer to join our team and support the implementation of our international programmes under the Women Power 2030 project.The Junior Project Officer supports the Programme Manager in coordinating project activities, managing subgrants, contributing to advocacy efforts, and ensuring smooth administrative and operational processes. The ideal candidate is organised, proactive, and committed to advancing gender equality and climate justice.Project Coordination Support- Support the Programme Manager with coordinating activities, tracking timelines, and monitoring progress across various WP2030 initiatives.
- Assist the Directors with coordination, reporting, follow-up, and project visibility for the successful implementation of the program.
Grant Management Assistance- Assist with administering financial sub-grants, ensuring accuracy and transparency in fund allocation, and timely donor reporting.
Communication and Outreach- Work with the communications team to enhance project visibility, support awareness campaigns, draft social media content, and engage with partners and stakeholders.
Policy Advocacy & Research Support- Contribute to policy research, drafting advocacy materials, and compiling resources.
- Assist in organising events that promote ecofeminist values and climate justice.
Capacity Building Support- Help coordinate workshops and capacity-building sessions for civil society and youth groups, including logistics and preparation of training materials.
Monitoring & Evaluation- Track and document project outcomes, collect data for impact analysis, and assist in producing monitoring and evaluation reports.
Administrative & Financial Support- Provide administrative support for budgeting and financial tracking.
- Coordinate with finance staff and assist in preparing financial reports.
Additional Responsibilities- Arrange meetings, take minutes, and maintain project documentation.
- Support fundraising efforts, including drafting proposals and supporting donor engagement.
- Assist with travel, event, and workshop logistics as needed.
- You are based in the Netherlands
- Master and/or a Bachelor’s degree in environmental studies, social sciences, development studies, gender studies, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in project assistance, preferably in climate action, gender equality, or social justice sectors.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills; detail-oriented and reliable.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English. Additional languages (Dutch, French, Spanish) are an asset.
- Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with online collaboration or project management tools is a plus.
- Commitment to WECF’s mission and strong interest in feminist and climate justice principles.
