GBV / VAWG PSEA/ SafeguardingJob Overview/Summary:The Gender, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion (GEDI) and Safeguarding Manager (GEDI&S Manager) will be responsible for guiding the Uganda Country Program in applying principles of gender, equality, diversity and inclusion in all operational policies and practices, and will help country staff to set and achieve meaningful and targeted goals for more gender equitable internal practices and in all program activities. S/he will also be responsible for implementation of IRC’s safeguarding strategy and activities across the country program.
Required qualification and skill:- Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, law, psychology, health, social work, humanities or other related discipline.
- 4 years professional experience in gender, diversity or inclusion programs and/or Protection and/or safeguarding and/or HR.
- Background or extensive understanding of humanitarian aid sector. Familiarity with the Gender, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Safeguarding standards and principles, international protection frameworks and mechanisms on safeguarding.
- At least one year experience of supervising a team providing direct services to survivors of violence and/or working at the community level.
- Demonstrated experience/understanding of organizational and/or HR policies and practices.
- Strong analytical skills related to feedback mechanisms, safeguarding, protection and similar matters.
- Good communication and report writing skills essential.

Role Purpose
The Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) Technical Advisor provides technical leadership and expertise to advance gender equality, disability inclusion and broader social inclusion across Save the Children Cambodia’s programming, advocacy, partnerships and internal practices.
The role supports the Country Office to deliver high-quality, inclusive and equitable programmes that ensure girls, boys and children with disabilities are able to survive, learn and be protected, and can meaningfully participate in decisions affecting their lives.
The GEDSI Advisor ensures that programmes are grounded in intersectional gender and power analysis and that Save the Children’s Gender Equality Policy, Disability Inclusion Policy and Programme Quality Framework are systematically applied across the programme cycle—from design to implementation, monitoring, evaluation and learning.
Working within the PDQI team, the role collaborates with programme sectors (education, child protection, health, nutrition, climate and child rights governance), MEAL, advocacy and operations colleagues to strengthen programme quality, evidence generation and influencing efforts.
The role contributes to Save the Children’s ambition to address inequality and discrimination affecting children, particularly those most marginalised, including girls, children with disabilities and other socially excluded groups.In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly.

GBV / VAWGOverall purpose of the role:
The main responsibility of this position is to deliver GBV response services and supervise, mentor, support in capacity building of Protection Assistant, Team members and Incentive Workers both Prevention & Response. And then to take responsibility for the general WGC activities management and support to the program for all activities including Men Engagement.
Responsibilities:
GBV RESPONSE ACTIVITY IMPLEMENTATION:- Provide direct support and care for GBV survivors and child survivors (related to GBV), including PSS and case management services, following case management guidelines and a survivor-centered approach, both in-person and remotely.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop and strengthen referral networks, monitor the implementation of referral pathways to improve survivors' access to confidential and safe GBV services promptly.
GBV PREVENTION ACTIVITY IMPLEMENTATION:- Make sure the WGC activities are being on track and to supervise the Field based assistants and incentive workers to take thier routine activities.
- Ensure the WGC Topics are adaptive monthly GBV existing risks and make sure to be in risk reduction focused activities.
REPORTING AND INFORMATION MANAGEMENT:- Provide weekly case updates to the supervisor, including newly identified cases, referral numbers, plans to close cases, and follow-ups.
- Submit weekly and monthly reports on response activities, detailing key achievements, challenges, lessons learned, and any follow-up support needed from the supervisor.
MENTORING AND OVERSIGHT OF FIELD BASED CASE WORKERS- Monitor and supervise case management, including capacity building through formal training and on-the-job learning for GBV Focal Points (Case Management).
- Conduct capacity-building training for GBV Focal Points (Case Management) to be deployed in the Sittwe and Pauktaw Women and Girls Centers.

The Role

- Has experience managing a small team.

Scope of workThe selected organisation will be expected to:- Develop a progressive and structured curriculum that moves from introductory digital security fundamentals to more advanced risk mitigation practices suitable for higher-risk environments.
- Design approximately 8–10 learning modules that combine clear explanatory content with practical tools, case studies, exercises, and knowledge checks.
- Ensure that the content is globally relevant, reflecting the lived realities of LGBTI organisations in different legal and socio-political contexts, while remaining adaptable to regional specificities.
- Produce the training initially in English and Spanish, with materials designed to facilitate future translation and contextual adaptation.
- Collaborate with ILGA World to ensure alignment with ILGA Academy’s pedagogical framework, accessibility standards, and digital platform requirements.
- Provide a clear outline of learning objectives and competencies, including how participants’ knowledge and confidence will be strengthened as a result of the training.
- Proposals may also include optional components such as pilot delivery to selected cohorts of ILGA staff and members, feedback integration, or training-of-trainers approaches to strengthen regional delivery capacity.
Deliverables and timeframe

Suivi et évaluation

GBV / VAWGAbout the Call
ActionAid Nigeria through the Multistakeholder Action for the Prevention of Gender Based Violence (MAPGBV Project), which works to reduce the incident of gender-based violence and its fears through a multistakeholder approach.
Objective of the call
The major objective of this exercise is to collect, collate and analyse data whose results and evidence-based insights will inform the design of context specific and strategic GBV Prevention Interventions in collaboration with traditional, religious, and community leaders in Anambra, Osun and Rivers.
Scope of Work
The three consultant(s) will:
- Develop an inception report including methodology and tools specific to the state
- Conduct fieldwork engaging TRC stakeholders
- Analyse harmful cultural practices affecting women and girls
- Assess perceptions, actions, and impact of TRC Leaders on GBV prevention
- Identify challenges, opportunities, and allies for GBV prevention
- Produce a comprehensive state-specific report with actionable recommendations
Deliverables
A comprehensive (state-specific) contextual analysis of the GBV landscape used in developing proposals to scale the MAPGBV project with Ford Foundation and beyond
Qualifications and Experience
• Advanced degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Gender Studies, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in research, organizational mapping, or similar assignments, preferably in Nigeria.
• Strong understanding of gender equality, women's rights, and civil society dynamics.
• Demonstrated experience in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
• Excellent writing, analysis, and presentation skills.
