In early 2024, TfG commissioned a study through Future Advocacy to understand how individuals and organizations are using the OOSI, the barriers preventing its use, and how it can be improved to become a valuable tool in ending sexual violence against children. Feedback from stakeholder interviews indicated that the index should be, first and foremost, an advocacy tool and not a research tool.Development of advocacy tools, consultancy - Objective & ResponsibilitiesObjectives- To develop and write a clear set of advocacy tools for a new iteration of the global Out of the Shadows Index, these will include guidance on the use of OOSI indicators in advocacy efforts (i.e. through pre-written resources like advocacy plan templates and draft talking points), and communications and campaigns best practices.
