SUMMARYThe Chief Program Officer leads and integrates WDN/A’s member engagement and mobilization strategy and our learning, grantmaking, and advocacy functions to ensure WDN/A’s membership model operates as a cohesive system for building donor power in alignment with movements for justice. The Chief Program Officer will ensure that every program and initiative across our learning, grantmaking and advocacy functions strengthens our membership network’s capacity to move money, influence, and collective action in service of gender, racial, economic, and climate justice.
As an executive leader who reports to the President & CEO and who is a member of WDN/A’s Executive Team, the Chief Program Officer must have high emotional intelligence and a deep understanding of donor psychology, transformational giving, and how to design experiences that deepen our members’ relationship to wealth, power, and responsibility. The Chief Program Officer will cultivate and steward trust-based partnerships with our members, grantees, and field leaders through positioning WDN/A as a connective force within the broader movement ecosystem.
Requirements- 15+ years of experience with organizations of a comparable size, with at least 2+ years of proven experience operating as a senior executive leader. Previous work experience within multi-entity, membership-based or networked organizations is strongly preferred.
- Deep commitment to WDN/A’s mission and values, with previous work experience in at least two of WDN’s funding priorities. Deep experience at the intersection of philanthropy, movement building, and/or political advocacy, with a clear understanding of how power operates across these domains is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success leading, refining and scaling an established strategy and systems for greater impact, with a track record of mobilizing significant resources (e.g., philanthropic capital, political funding, or aligned investments) in service of mission-driven outcomes.

The RoleWe are looking to add a new Advisor for our Prevention Sector Development Team.
The Prevention Engagement Advisor will lead a program of work focused on supporting strategic messaging of Safe and Equal’s prevention priorities and campaign activities.
This role will be well-versed in strategic, values driven messaging and program management with a positive vision for change. It will lead all stakeholder engagement and coordination to deliver the 16 Days of Activism Grassroots Initiative as a part of Respect Victoria’s statewide 16 Days of Activism campaign. Here are some examples of what you will achieve in the next 12 months as the Prevention Engagement Advisor:
- Overseeing Safe and Equal’s stakeholder engagement supporting local councils and organisations through the 16 Days of Activism Grassroots Initiative,
- Leading communications deliverables engaging the Partners in Prevention Network through monthly bulletins, events and PreventX,
- Working collaboratively with the Safe and Equal Communications and Prevention Workforce Development teams to develop strategic messaging and campaigns promoting Safe and Equal’s prevention programs, training, activities and resources to Safe and Equal members and wider audiences,

About the roleThe Senior Specialist - Protection, Gender and Inclusion (PGI) is responsible for advising Australian Red Cross International Programs on the delivery of high quality and inclusive PGI/ GEDSI programming to people affected by disaster and crises. Working with direction from the Senior Manager for Technical Leads, the Senior Specialist is responsible for setting the strategic direction and PGI commitments for International Programs and for supporting alignment and coherence of PGI/ GEDSI practice across Australian Red Cross, drawing on key stakeholders from the wider Red Cross Red Crescent (RCRC) Movement and other stakeholders.This position provides technical leadership and strategic oversight of the design and delivery of Australian Red Cross supported PGI interventions, ensuring staff, volunteers, delegates and partners have access to and are drawing from appropriate tools and resources and that all interventions are aligned with global good practice and Australian Red Cross strategic direction.
What you will bring- High level strategic, technical and operational skills in PGI/ GEDSI planning and programming, particularly with familiarity in Asia and the Pacific contexts.
- High level of knowledge, skills and experience (preferably international) of disaster preparedness/response/recovery programming with Red Cross Red Crescent, NGOs or other similar organisations.
- Excellent analytical capacity including interpersonal, negotiation and cross-cultural skills.
- High level communication, networking and influencing skills.
- Demonstrated capacity to conceptualise, design, guide, monitor, evaluate and draw lessons from PGI/ GEDSI interventions.
- Previous experience in international humanitarian response sector and gender and disability areas.
- Demonstrated capacity to write high quality program proposals and reports.
- Demonstrated capability in leading the design and overseeing implementation of research projects.

Description of Responsibilities/ Scope of Work
Under the overall supervision of the Head of Programmes and close collaboration with the Research and Data Analyst, and the EVAW Project Manager, , , the international expert will provide technical and methodological support to INSTAT for the preparation, implementation, and analysis of the national Violence against Women (VAW) Survey in Albania, as follows:

Qualifications:- Advanced degree (Master) in Social Sciences, Gender Studies, Development Studies, Human Rights, Sociology or related field, and/or senior academic experience
- A first-level university degree in Social Sciences, Gender Studies, Development Studies, Human Rights in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
- A minimum of 10 (ten) years of progressively responsible and relevant experience in the fields of human rights, social inclusion, and/or GBV/VAW
- A minimum of seven years’ experience of research and statistical processes in the area of GBV/VAW.
- Experience of leading at least 2 (two) household surveys on GBV/VAW at international and/or national level.
- Demonstrated experience with Eurostat, EIGE, and FRA methodological requirements is required, including direct experience in implementing internationally recognized survey methodologies for measuring the prevalence of gender-based violence and violence against women, the WHO Multi-Country Study on Women’s Health and Domestic Violence against Women, and/or other comparable international survey frameworks.
- Previous training/facilitation expertise in conducting household surveys on the topics of GBV/VAW or related issues
- Proven experience in the use of statistical software (STATA, SPSS)
- Fluency in English is required.
