Scholarship
  • To extend, transform and apply knowledge from scholarship to inform teaching and supervision
  • To disseminate scholarly work, for example presenting papers at conferences and workshops, publishing articles or papers in academic journals and in other relevant contexts 

Teaching and Promotion of Learning
  • To develop innovative teaching materials, techniques and module design and take responsibility for the quality of the provision
  • To plan, deliver and critically review a range of teaching and assessment activities 
  • To undertake academic supervision of students 
  • To set and mark assessments and provide constructive feedback to students
  • To contribute to the Centre’s commitment to diversify and decolonise the curriculum 

Management and Administration
  • To undertake the duties of a Programme Director and Module Coordinator and be responsible for the  development and management of teaching modules
  • To contribute to the administration of the Centre

The above list of duties is not exhaustive and is subject to change.  The post holder may be required to undertake others duties within the scope and grading of the post.
