Masculinities
Beyond Equality work with men and boys towards creating gender equality, inclusive communities and healthier relationships. Over the past 10 years, we have delivered short and long-term interventions in settings including schools, workplaces, universities, prisons, professional sports, amateur sports, and government institutions. We have co-hosted international conversations on the topic, advised multiple parliamentary committees, and led leading research into the field. But our bread & butter, and the heart of our organisation are our workshops that have reached over 90,000 people.
We currently have an exciting Movember-funded project which will launch 6 new ‘Men's Health Hubs’ across the UK, ensuring we can reach more men with our impactful work. For each hub, we will be training a group of local Lead Facilitators to deliver bespoke workshops focused on masculinity, and mental health, to men within local community groups who may otherwise not be able to access such workshops.
To help build this project in the North East of the UK, we are looking for a Regional Coordinator. This person will form a key part of the Beyond Equality team, helping to create and run the regional hub in Newcastle. This role will be a remote-working position, but due to the nature of the work, the ideal candidate will be based within Newcastle & the surrounding areas, with knowledge of and networks within the local area.
Duties & Responsibilities:

- Outreach
