For more than 30 years, Women's Health Goulburn North East (WHGNE) has worked to improve women's health, safety and economic wellbeing across the Goulburn Murray and North East Victoria region, including Mitchell Shire. As a feminist health promotion and advocacy organisation, we use evidence to address the systemic inequalities that shape women's lives and outcomes.
Position Objective
The Executive Assistant to the Executive Manager Programs and Impact provides high-level executive, administrative and operational support to the Executive Manager Programs and Impact and contributes to the effective delivery, evaluation, promotion and continuous improvement of WHGNE’s programs, projects and initiatives. Frequent in-person commitments as required to fulfil the responsibilities of the role across the region. The role will:
• Provide proactive executive and administrative support to the Executive Manager Programs and Impact.
• Support planning, implementation, reporting and coordination across WHGNE’s programs and projects.
• Assist with monitoring, evaluation, learning and impact measurement activities.
• Support communications, stakeholder engagement and digital marketing activities across the organisation.
• Coordinate meetings, events, workshops, learning activities and project administration.
• Contribute to effective information management, reporting systems and organisational processes.
• Provide leave coverage for the Executive Assistant to the CEO as required.
Selection Criteria Qualifications
1. Relevant qualification in administration, communications, project management, evaluation or a related discipline.
2. Demonstrated experience in executive assistance, program coordination, communications, evaluation or a related role, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Experience, Skills and Knowledge
1. Demonstrated experience (typically 3-5 years or more) in executive assistance, program administration, project coordination, communications or a similar role.
2. Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate competing deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
3. Experience supporting programs, projects, events, training activities and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
4. Demonstrated experience supporting monitoring, evaluation, reporting and data management activities, including the collection and collation of information and preparation of reports.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports, correspondence, presentations, digital content and project documentation.
6. High-level proficiency in Microsoft 365 and digital communication platforms, including experience using SharePoint, Canva, social media and website content management systems.
7. Highly developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement and confidentiality, and build effective relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
