Baithak – Challenging Taboos is looking for people to join our team in Karachi for two full-time hybrid positions: Program Officer and Grants Officer.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in the design and development of programs and community-based initiatives.
  • Support the development of project proposals, concept notes, and related documentation through research and collaborative input.
  • Contribute to program documentation and reporting as per donor and organizational requirements.
  • Participate in strategic planning discussions, team meetings, and relevant capacity-building or outreach events.
  • Conduct research and support the development of program materials, presentations, and other knowledge products.

REQUIREMENTS
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant professional experience in program coordination, development, implementation, research, or a related field.
  • Strong research, writing, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to contribute to proposals, concept notes, reports, and other program documentation.
  • Ability to work individually and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and comfort with digital collaboration tools.
  • Candidate must be self-directed, should be able to manage their deadlines.
    Must be a feminist and pro-Palestine.
  • This position is not intended for fresh graduates.
    Demonstrated understanding of gender, SRHR, feminism, social justice, and/or related issues.
