THE ROLE
The Board is the governing body of CHOICE for Youth & Sexuality, responsible for safeguardng the mission, providing longterm strategic direction, and overseeing its organisational and financial health. The board consists of a Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, and two General Board Members.
We are currently looking for both a new Chairperson as well as a new General Board Member to join us.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for someone who is genuinely committed to CHOICE’s mission and excited to contribute to a small, youth-led feminist organisation. You take initiative, think strategically and work collaboratively, while being comfortable with the hands-on realities of governing a small NGO. You bring a feminist and values-driven approach to leadership, are willing to ask critical questions, and can balance strategic oversight with practical support when needed.
Must-haves:
- Committed to CHOICE’s vision, mission and values
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Pro-active, reliable, and able to navigate changing priorities
- Flexible: Willing and able to commit the necessary time, including some evenings and/or weekends
- Based in the Netherlands
