POSITION SUMMARY
The Program Manager-GBV leads technical support and coordination for NCA Somalia’s GBV prevention and response programming, ensuring survivor‑centered, gender‑transformative, and standards‑compliant implementation across the project cycle.
The position directly supervises GBV Caseworkers and provides field-level technical support, guidance, and capacity strengthening to partners to ensure quality Programme delivery.
The role drives programme quality through strategic input, partner capacity strengthening, evidence‑based MEAL and reporting, budget and risk oversight, and active engagement in coordination forums and advocacy with key stakeholders, including technical leadership for the JFGM/CEFM programme.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
  • Education level: Masters in Gender studies, Development Studies or any related Social Sciences
  • A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience in designing, managing, and providing technical oversight to GBV programmes in humanitarian and development contexts, including at least two years in a senior technical or leadership role. Experience in Somalia or a comparable context is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with and strengthening the technical and institutional capacities of local partners, including through mentoring, coaching, and capacity development.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing high-quality donor proposals, concept notes, budgets, and narrative reports, with a strong understanding of donor requirements and compliance standards.
  • Fluency in Somali and strong professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
