About The Role
The purpose of the post is to support the inequality policy and public campaigns activities. They will assist in the research activities, supporting in coordinating teams and project work plans.
The post will immensely be beneficial to the intern in that they will get an opportunity and support with learning on key areas of work within Oxfam International inequality campaigns team and be exposed to wider Oxfam work to help build their capacity. The learning plan will be developed jointly by the intern and their line manager.

ESSENTIAL
• Able to develop a degree of self-awareness around your own strengths and weaknesses and your impact on others. Your self-awareness enables you to moderate and self-regulate your own behaviors to control and channel your impulses for good purposes. • Knowledge of socio-economic environment at national and global levels, especially regarding inequality.
• Ability to liaise with a wide range of people, both internally and externally and at many levels, with credibility, tact and diplomacy • Fluent written and spoken English.
• Demonstrable experience in project management and excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrable desire to acquire technical professional experience in the INGO sector
• Ability to lead projects in a way that inspires people to deliver.
• Strong writing and editing skills .
• Proficiency with MS Office application
