The professorship will be an important part of the emerging Institute for Women’s Health ( https://lnkd.in/enfRBKsS ), whose establishment I am co-leading together with its president, Prof. Dr. med. Michael D. Mueller. It will help connect engineering innovation, digital technologies and clinical needs to deliver measurable improvements in women’s health.
EPFL is seeking an outstanding researcher to develop engineering-driven solutions for personalized monitoring, diagnostics and treatment. Relevant areas include wearable sensors, organoids, microfluidics, advanced imaging, biomedical microsystems and AI-based analytics, with a strong emphasis on sex-specific physiology, minimally invasive technologies and clinical impact across the lifespan.
The appointment will be at the Tenure Track Assistant Professor level. Prof. Carlotta Guiducci, Chair of the Search Committee, is responsible for the application process.
