About the Job
International Centre for Reproductive Health (ICRH) is recruiting an experienced Reproductive Health Advisor to provide clinical and technical leadership across its full reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health (RMNCAH) portfolio, including family planning, HIV and STI services, and adolescent sexual and reproductive health. The successful candidate will be a senior reproductive health practitioner, such as a medical officer, nurse-midwife, or reproductive health clinical officer, with extensive field experience in RMNCAH service delivery and quality improvement.

The Advisor will strengthen the design, implementation, quality, and evaluation of evidence-based interventions across multiple counties. The role combines hands-on clinical and midwifery expertise with the ability to manage multi-county programs, coordinate consortium partners, and translate national guidelines and evidence into frontline practice. The Advisor will serve as ICRH’s technical liaison to counties and the Ministry of Health’s RMNCAH Division.

Personal Attributes
·            A reproductive health clinical qualification with current registration in good standing with the relevant Kenyan professional body:

o   Medical Officer (MBChB; Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council); or

o   Registered Nurse-Midwife (KRCHN, or BScN with midwifery; Nursing Council of Kenya); or

o   Registered Clinical Officer with a higher diploma in Reproductive Health (Clinical Officers Council).

·         At least 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in reproductive, maternal, and newborn health service delivery and programming, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior technical leadership role within an NGO or public health program.

·         Demonstrated clinical experience across the RMNCAH continuum, including family planning; experience in HIV and STI service delivery is an advantage.

·         Demonstrated experience in clinical quality improvement, MPDSR, supportive supervision, and mentorship.

·         Practical experience contributing to operational research, data use, or learning agendas. A record of leading publications is not required.

·         Experience of donor-funded programs and their compliance requirements is an advantage.

·         Demonstrated engagement with the Ministry of Health and county governments. Advocacy or communications experience is an advantage.
