About Menstrual Rights Global
Menstrual Rights Global is an international rights based organisation and network advancing menstrual rights across gender equality, sexual and reproductive health and rights, public health, climate justice, humanitarian action and sustainable development.
Background
MRG is entering an important period of organisational growth. Our international community, relationships and programme portfolio are expanding, creating a need for a more coherent and sustainable approach to strategic partnerships and resource development.
MRG is therefore appointing a Head of Strategic Partnerships for an initial six month consultancy. Working in close partnership with the CEO and Board, the consultant will build a strong partnerships and resource mobilisation strategy, professionalise MRG's fundraising systems and approach, diversify funding streams and create a practical foundation that can be sustained beyond the assignment.
Purpose of the consultancy
The purpose of the consultancy is to establish an effective and creative strategic partnerships and resource mobilisation function that supports MRG as it grows. The consultant will help shape strategy, professionalise fundraising, diversify the opportunity pipeline and strengthen systems so MRG can manage relationships consistently and mobilise rapidly when strong or time sensitive opportunities emerge.
