About the Equality Collaboration Partnership Secretariat 
The Equality Collaboration is a partnership between DFAT, Women’s Fund Asia (WFA) and the Pacific Feminist Fund (PFF) to support LGBTQIA+ civil society in Southeast Asia and the Pacific.  

The purpose of the Partnership Secretariat is to provide support to DFAT, WFA and PFF to enable coordination, cohesion and collaboration across the partnership. It will provide services including monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) coordination, logistical and administrative support and coordination, and facilitation and partnership brokering. 

Partnership Coordinator Purpose
 
The Partnership Coordinator will lead strategic coordination and cohesion of the partnership between DFAT, WFA and PFF, and collaboration with the Southeast Asia Advisory Group and the Pacific Advisory Group. 

 The Partnership Coordinator holds overall accountability for strategic direction, decision-making and performance of the Partnership Secretariat. They will provide direction for the Partnership Enabler, and work closely with the MEL Lead and Partnership Broker to ensure the various functions of the Secretariat are cohesive, efficient and effective to support the Equality Collaboration.  

The Partnership Coordinator guides  partnership effectiveness, fostering trust, transparency and accountability across partners and ensuring that strategic decisions are informed by learning, emerging opportunities and the needs of LGBTQIA+ communities.

Skills and Expertise 
  • National of Southeast Asia or the Pacific (and preferably located in one of those regions) 
  • Demonstrated experience working with feminist, LGBTQIA+, human rights, social justice or movement-building organisations and networks. 
  • Strongly encourage applications from LGBTQIA+ and SOGIESC-diverse people. Lived experience is highly valued alongside professional experience and expertise. (NB Applicants must not be employed by Equality Collaboration grantee organisations) 
  • Strong Understanding of issues faced by LGBTQIA+ and SOGIESC-diverse people in Southeast Asia and the Pacific 
  • Experience in program/partnership leadership, focused on working collaboratively with peer specialists and partnership members 
  • Strong risk management skills grounded in program context 
  • Experience in empowering direction and performance management of program staff  
  • Good analysis and English language writing skills, including writing reports to donor requirements
