Project Background
The technical assistance (TA) for Advancing Gender Responsive-Budgeting in Asia and the Pacific will support developing member countries (DMCs), including Armenia, Indonesia, Mongolia, Nauru, Solomon Islands, and Uzbekistan, in integrating and advancing gender-responsive budgeting (GRB) into fiscal policy making and public finance management (PFM). 

Objective and Purpose of the Assignment
The objective of this assignment is to support the delivery of activities under Output 2 which focus on strengthening capacity and knowledge GRB in participating DMCs. The consulting firm will work across the six DMCs to undertake desk reviews and consultations with relevant government 
agencies and stakeholders to design and implement GRB capacity-building programs aligned with ADB operations. The firm will also identify international and regional good practices and prepare analytical inputs and case studies to inform GRB knowledge products.

ADB is seeking an international firm with expertise in gender-responsive planning and budgeting, capacity development, delivery of training programs and knowledge management. The Firm is expected to have demonstrated experience working in developing countries in Asia and the Pacific, including effective engagement with government agencies and proven capacity to support the introduction and institutionalization of new government processes. The firm will provide a team of international and national experts with an estimated total input of 16.7 person‑months.
