Overview
Leading Ladies Africa is a women’s rights organization working to advance gender inclusive leadership, equity and economic justice for African women and girls.
With our programs, and strategic advocacy interventions, Leading Ladies Africa has since inception directly impacted 320,000 women, 80,500 girls and reached 250+ communities in Africa.
Through our content and targeted storytelling, Leading Ladies Africa is catalyzing leadership by consistently providing our community of nearly 400,000 African women and girls with tools, skills, and resources required to overcome negative societal and cultural gender norms, challenge the status quo, and live more fulfilling and impactful lives.
We believe that with the right leadership skills and opportunities — African women and girls can contribute to solving some of the world’s most pressing and urgent challenges.
The Gathering: Women in Leadership Forum is Leading Ladies Africa's brand new flagship convening coming to Abuja on June 20th, 2026 and we are looking for young women to provide technical and logistical support to help bring it to life.

This is a high-level forum bringing together senior women leaders, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and changemakers for a full day of powerful, unfiltered conversations about women's leadership in Africa. And we need a passionate, reliable team behind the scenes to make it happen.
To be considered, you must:
- Be based in Abuja or able to come to Abuja at least 2 days before the event
- Have good communication skills — both written and verbal
- Have basic knowledge of organising an impact-based event
