EDUXO – European Network for Democracy & Equality – is seeking a proactive and organised Membership Manager (Individuals) to manage and expand its individual membership base across Europe. This volunteer role plays a key part in strengthening the organisation’s community, governance, and long-term sustainability by ensuring members feel engaged, informed, and valued.
Role Overview
The Membership Manager is responsible for overseeing the full member journey, from onboarding to engagement. Working closely with the Membership Lead, Community Manager, HR team, and President, the role supports the development of an active and inclusive community aligned with EDUXO’s feminist and youth-led mission.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage registration and onboarding of new members
- Maintain communication with members, sharing updates and opportunities
- Oversee membership renewals, records, and database (GDPR-compliant)
- Draft and send member communications (emails, newsletters, updates)
- Support the organisation of members-only events and activities
- Monitor engagement and satisfaction levels
- Collaborate on integrating new members into the community
- Prepare brief reports on membership trends
- Participate in monthly meetings and suggest improvements to member engagement strategies
Main Activities
Tasks may include onboarding processes, engagement campaigns, newsletters, event coordination, and supporting governance processes where members participate in decision-making. The role also focuses on strengthening community belonging and increasing membership value.

Requirements
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Member-oriented, friendly, and proactive attitude
- Interest or experience in community or membership management (not mandatory)
- Ability to use spreadsheets and digital tools
- Professionalism, reliability, and teamwork skills
- Alignment with feminist, inclusive, and intersectional values
- Fluency in English (Italian or French is a plus)
