Health
Background The Africa Center for Health Systems and Gender Justice (ACHSGJ) is a Pan-African social impact organisation leveraging social entrepreneurship, community intelligence, and systems innovation to redesign how health and economic systems function across the continent. Rooted in the belief that care must be community-defined, dignified, and inclusive, ACHSGJ works to shift power and resources so that women, girls, and structurally marginalised communities can shape, own, and benefit from the systems that govern their lives. Through interconnected pillars of economic power, leadership and governance, and citizen-led evidence, the Centre develops community financing models, strengthens institutional leadership, and builds insight ecosystems that drive equitable policy, financing, delivery, and accountability. Our work is grounded in African agency and designed to produce long-term, resilient, and just systems that enable collective wellbeing and opportunity.
