ABOUT EQUALITY NOW:
At Equality Now, we aspire to create a world in which women and men have equal rights under the law and full enjoyment of their human rights. Our mission is gender equality. And how we get there matters. Here are the values behind everything we do.

MISSION OBJECTIVE: SOUTH ASIA
To expand Equality Now’s impact across South Asia by advancing legal and systemic change through regional advocacy, strategic partnerships, litigation support, and engagement with human rights mechanisms. The Regional Representative,  South Asia plays a critical role in advancing the organization's work through both legal acumen and strategic activism.

MISSION OBJECTIVE: MENA
The  Associate,  MENA advances Equality Now’s mission to  develop and implement  frameworks and strategies for regional legal reform campaigns in the MENA, particularly in the area of family law.  Working closely with our MENA partners  and the Hurra  Coalition members, the Associate, MENA supports cross-border advocacy, inclusive coalition-building, and capacity development to combat discrimination and  violence against women and girls and uphold legal rights, especially in the area of family law.
By following ethical practices and sharing process observations, the Associate, MENA helps sustain service quality and accountability. They engage internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth delivery, timely outputs, and continuous improvement. Through their support in research, communications, and convenings, the role helps  translate evidence-based advocacy into measurable progress on gender equality.
