What does this role do?
The communications team here at ReportOUT play a vital role in highlighting the important and valuable work of our major Human Rights Reports, as well as raising awareness of events and articles. Your role will therefore involve creating engaging social media and other communications content, which will be used to cascade key messages and developments that the charity will be sharing with the public and internally. The communications team here at ReportOUT play a vital role in highlighting the important and valuable work of our major Human Rights Reports, as well as raising awareness of events and articles. Your role will therefore involve creating engaging social media and other communications content, which will be used to cascade key messages and developments that the charity will be sharing with the public and internally. You will:
- Listen carefully to othet teams at ReportOUT and update comms to reflect their work.
- Encourage external people and ReportOUT members to write blogs, and post them on our website.
- Create and schedule engaging content across our social media platforms.
- Monitor and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner.
- Develop and execute social media campaigns to raise awareness and drive action.
- Write and distribute our monthly newsletter.
- Track and analyse social media metrics to optimise performance.
- Stay updated on social media trends and best practices.
- Update our intranet, ReportIN, on SharePoint.
- Collaborate with the communications team to ensure cohesive messaging.
- Use our branding guidelines to create visual content on Canva.
