 PhD POSITION 
The PhD candidate will play a crucial role in the project by managing local data collection in Switzerland under the guidance of the Principal Investigator and the postdoctoral researcher. They will also help organize two workshops in Zurich, providing them with valuable opportunities to connect with leading scholars in LGBTIQ+ research, social psychology, health research, and global policy. They will further present their work at international scientific conferences and engage with wider audiences. A research stay abroad will also be encouraged.

To enhance their learning experience during their doctoral studies, the PhD student will work on three papers (e.g., combining the minority stress framework with the social cure approach; analyzing differences between countries and subpopulations) in close collaboration with the PI, the postdoctoral researchers, and the international team. Finally, the PhD candidate will receive training in public speaking and will engage in outreach activities to bridge the gap between science and the broader society 

 Qualifications:
• Master’s degree or equivalent in (Social or Clinical) Psychology or a related field
• Strong interest in psychological research and LGBTIQ+ research
• Project management skills
• Experience with quantitative research methods and statistical analysis (e.g., R)
• Very good written and spoken English; knowledge of or willingness to acquire German 
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Interest in and connection to the LGBTIQ+ community

POSTDOCTORAL POSITION
The postdoctoral researcher will play a crucial role in the project management. They will assist the principal investigator with a variety of research tasks, which include managing the Department of Psychology Social Psychology translation of the questionnaire, programming the survey, providing feedback on preregistrations by the subgroups, troubleshooting issues, preparing and analyzing data, and facilitating workshops in Zurich. They will also engage in outreach activities, such as writing descriptive summary reports. In addition, the postdoctoral researcher will take the lead on several manuscripts and will contribute to a meta-science manuscript aimed at enhancing global science initiatives. There will be opportunities for collaboration with leading scholars on specific subtopics within the broader project, allowing for international experience through partnerships with prominent figures in the field of Social Psychology, Health Research, and Public Policy. They will also present their work at international scientific conferences. Moreover, the postdoctoral researcher will co-author at least one manuscript with a PhD student, assuming a supervisory role to develop their mentoring skills while co-supervising the student alongside the principal investigator.
