Sexual & reproductive rights (SRHR) Health
BACKGROUND 
AmplifyChange makes grants of various sizes and duration to support the work of civil society organisations (CSOs) located in low- and middle-income countries, advocating for improved sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). 


 MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 
1. Manage a portfolio of international grants, ensuring compliance with internal procedures 
2. Provide high quality technical SRHR support and coaching to groups to support them throughout the grant including preparing for contracting and regular performance reviews 
3. Collaborate with the team to support the development and management of new grant calls 
4. Screen and review grant applications and budgets against pre-defined criteria to recommend whether a grant application should, or should not, be reviewed by the independent Technical Review Panel
 5. Maintain oversight of financial and contractual compliance of a portfolio of grants 6. Work closely with the Grants Compliance Team and Grant Operations Team to ensure smooth processes 
7. Identify and contribute to lessons learning and knowledge sharing among grantees and support external communications of AmplifyChange supported grants 
8. Provide ongoing technical expertise to political and situational analysis of SRHR in the relevant countries 
9. Represent AmplifyChange as necessary to support outreach and learning with civil society, donors and potential donors 
10. Provide inputs to organisational strategic development and review of progress 
11. Engage with the field of philanthropy and grants management to stay informed of best practices 

 Qualifications and Experience 
• Postgraduate degree in a relevant subject, or an undergraduate degree with substantial relevant experience in the field of SRHR. 
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working in the field of SRHR within international contexts including, public health, human rights, advocacy or social policy setting. 
• Significant experience working on SRHR programme management and advocacy including work with grassroots organisations, SRHR movements, or youth-led initiatives within developing countries across Africa, South Asia, and/or the Middle East. 
• Demonstrable experience of managing projects, contracts or grants, including performance management and evaluation and learning. 
• Demonstrable technical knowledge and experience in SRHR including advanced expertise in Youth SRHR with proven skills in advocacy, campaigning and effective program design and implementation. 
• Experience in organisational strengthening and a good understanding of how to support and build capacity in grassroots organisations. 
• Evidence of engagement with SRHR policy, advocacy, or movement building, particularly in applying rights-based approaches. 
 • Fluency in English and French (additional languages an advantage)
