EDUXO is seeking a committed and detail-oriented DEI Specialist & Reviewer to support the internal quality control of all written materials produced by our organisational units. This role is essential to ensuring coherence, clarity, and alignment across the internal work of all Specialist teams.
꾆 Role Purpose
The Text Reviewer ensures that all documents produced across EDUXO maintain:
Consistency with our tone of voice
Clear structure and readability
Accurate, inclusive, and intersectional language
Alignment with our organisational standards and guidelines
High-quality outputs before publication or internal circulation
This is a cross-cutting role, supporting the work of multiple Specialist teams (Advocacy, Comms, Events, Partnerships, Fundraising, HR, Research, Membership, etc.).
꾆 Key Responsibilities
Review, edit, and proofread materials produced by Specialist teams
Ensure accuracy in grammar, structure, terminology and style (Italian and/or English; French is a plus)
Provide constructive suggestions and improvements
Maintain alignment with EDUXO’s tone of voice and editorial standards
Help strengthen and update internal writing guidelines
Support the Communications Specialist when needed
Participate in periodic internal coordination check-ins (flexible)
Requirements
Strong writing and editing skills in Italian and/or English (French is an advantage)
Excellent attention to detail and editorial consistency
Understanding of feminist, intersectional, inclusive language
Reliability, transparency, and collaborative mindset
Ability to work across teams and handle multiple requests
Previous experience in editing, copywriting, journalism, academic writing, or similar (formal/informal)
Motivation to support a youth-led European NGO
