Our Brussels team is looking for a Senior Policy & Advocacy Officer to drive our work on gender equality and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) within the EU’s international cooperation.

If you’re passionate about advancing gender equality, SRHR, and global health and have strong EU advocacy experience - this is an excellent opportunity to help shape EU policies and funding that support inclusive, sustainable development worldwide.

💼 What you will do
 • Lead advocacy activities on EU external action, gender equality & SRHR
 • Monitor EU policies and funding processes (Global Europe Instrument, GAP, Global Health Strategy, etc.)
 • Develop strategic recommendations, policy positions & advocacy materials
 • Engage EU institutions, civil society organisations, coalitions & other partners
 • Represent DSW at events, meetings & policy dialogues
 • Collaborate with our Brussels and global teams on joint initiatives
 • Contribute to communication, reporting, and resource mobilisation activities

✨ What we’re looking for
 • 4–7+ years of EU advocacy experience
 • Strong understanding of EU external action, gender equality & SRHR
 • Excellent drafting, communication & networking skills
 • Master’s degree in a relevant field (EU policy, gender, public/global health, development, etc.)
 • Fluent English
 • Work and residence permit for Belgium
 • Alignment with DSW’s mission and values
