ESWA is looking for a passionate, strategic, collaborative Executive Director to lead our organisation and support sex workers’ rights across Europe and Central Asia. The role oversees staff, strengthens partnerships, manages programmes and ensures strong fundraising, advocacy and organisational development.

The Executive Director will:
  • Lead the implementation of ESWA’s Strategic Plan.
  • Guide and support a remote, diverse team.
  • Oversee programmes, campaigns and advocacy.
  • Manage organisational budgets and ensure compliance.
  • Build donor relationships and lead fundraising work.
  • Represent ESWA at national, regional and global events.

The Executive Director should have:
  • Senior leadership experience in NGO or networks, or community-led organisations.
  • Deep commitment to advancing sex workers’ rights in Europe and Central Asia.
  • A strong record of programme and organisational management.
  • Proven fundraising experience.
  • Experience working with diverse communities, particularly sex worker-led groups.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

This is a remote position based in Europe or Central Asia, with regular travel required.
