At the Asia Feminist LBQ Network, we are seeking a highly motivated and versatile Admin and Finance Officer to join our dedicated team. Job Title: Admin and Finance Officer
Place of assignment: Bangkok, Thailand
Language: Proficiency in both English and Thai is required.
Expected period: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Salary: 55.000 baht per month
Reporting line: Executive Director
Deadline for submission: 25 August 2023
Key responsibilities
- Oversee administrative tasks, including managing office supplies, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
- Assist with financial management activities, such as budgeting, invoicing, and expense tracking.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
- Prepare financial reports, including monthly statements, cash flow projections, and variance analyses.
- Support payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, including vendors, clients, and financial institutions.
- Assist in developing and implementing administrative and financial policies and procedures.
- Provide general support to the management team as needed.
Key requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with exposure to both administration and finance.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and accounting standards.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel).
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude.
- Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements in Thailand is a plus.
- Experience with financial management in the NGO sector is an advantage.
