At the Asia Feminist LBQ Network, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Finance Officer to join our dynamic team. Title: Senior Finance Officer
Place of assignment: Bangkok, Thailand
Language: Proficiency in English is required. Proficiency in both English and Thai is preferred.
Expected period: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Salary: 70.000 baht per month
Reporting line: Executive Director
Deadline for submission: 25 August 2023

Key responsibilities
  • Oversee the financial operations of the organisation, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Develop and implement effective financial strategies to optimise budgeting and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and providing actionable recommendations to senior management.
  • Lead the financial planning and reporting process, including the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.
  • Manage cash flow, liquidity, and risk management activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making and provide financial insights.
  • Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Key requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in finance, with a focus on financial management and analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations in Thailand.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Quickbooks, ERP systems, financial modelling software).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with financial management in the NGO sector is an advantage.
