Position Summary
The Senior Program Officer for Project Management will support the implementation of Fòs Feminista’s programmatic initiatives to advance SRHRJ in collaboration with partners in Latin America and the Caribbean. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team from several units, the Senior Program Officer will be responsible for coordinating planning, partner engagement, and tracking of deliverables for donor-funded initiatives. This role will also support the establishment of efficient systems and processes for internal project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-coordinate, support, monitor, and document the implementation of programmatic initiatives in Latin America and Caribbean, with specific focus on decriminalization and access to legal and safe abortion.
- Co-create and adapt systems and processes for more effective and efficient project management.
- Track and report on status of project deliverables and action items arising from meetings with partners and donors.
- Facilitate internal information-sharing and coordination across units for programmatic initiatives.
- Support coordination of logistics for in-person and virtual technical briefings, meetings, and events.
- Support partners to implement project activities and to strengthen their project implementation capacities.
- Maximize and coordinate opportunities for partners’ articulation and capacity sharing with regional and international networks, platforms, and working groups.
- Contribute to developing feminist knowledge and analysis in accessible communication formats to support project activities and priorities of the Fòs Feminista Alliance.
- Other tasks, as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience discipline.
- 5-7 years of program or project management experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Highly-organized, detail-oriented self-starter who also has strong collaborative spirit.
- Excellent planning and time management skills.
- Ability to conceptualize needs for and support the creation of processes, tools, and systems to facilitate project management.
- Strong writing and presentation skills for reporting on deliverables.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.
- High degree of fluency in English and Spanish language is required; Portuguese highly desirable.
- Flexibility and willingness to work virtually with a diverse and multicultural team.
- Solid understanding of and commitment to sexual and reproductive health and rights through an intersectional feminist lens
- Demonstrated commitment to anti-racism and other forms of oppression, including to a process of self-reflection and transformation around implicit bias
- Relationship and connections to the feminist and SRHRJ movements globally, including the Latin America and Caribbean region, is a plus.

This position is fully remote and to be based in Colombia. Candidates from Indigenous and Afro-descendant communities are encouraged to apply.
