We are looking for
The Guiding Programs Officer will play a key role in developing, adapting and piloting existing Guiding programs that strengthens wellbeing, resilience and leadership for girls aged 12-17 years across Victoria. Delivery will be with local communities, schools and other settings. This work supports GGV's broader goals to expand reach, increase accessibility, and provide flexible engagement options for Victorian girls.
Reporting to the Guiding Manager, the role will contribute to reimagining existing content into formats suitable for:
- One-day workshops / Half-day sessions / Multi-session series
The role includes end-to-end involvement: from redesigning materials, to supporting and co-facilitating sessions, to refining programs based on feedback and evaluation. The work will be fast paced, with delivery milestones required by end of May 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with local communities and partners to identify needs of girls aged 12–17
- Adapt existing Guiding content into short-form, age-appropriate sessions
- Lead and co-facilitate, with a small casual staff team, workshops and programs across Victoria
- Evaluate program impact and contribute to continuous improvement
