About Her Place
Her Place Women’s Museum Australia is a not-for-profit organisation that celebrates the social, civic, and entrepreneurial achievements of Australian women. Through exhibitions, public programs, education resources, and a growing archive, Her Place honours the contributions of women—known and unknown—who have shaped our nation.
As Her Place transitions to a new, fit-for-purpose space at the Abbotsford Convent in early 2026, the organisation is poised to expand its reach, deepen its impact, and become the definitive source of knowledge and storytelling about Australian women.

The Director will lead Her Place into its next chapter, driving strategic growth, community engagement, and financial sustainability. This role requires a visionary leader with a strong track record in grant writing, stakeholder engagement, and cultural leadership.
