About the Role

The Project Support – Services Database Development role is an integral part of NTV’s Projects Team, supporting the design and delivery of a new online National Directory of Services for people who use, or are at risk of using, violence.

You’ll work closely with the Project Officer – Services Mapping to vet service providers, manage data entry, and help ensure the accuracy and integrity of a comprehensive national services database. You’ll also assist with promotional activities, stakeholder communication, and contribute to ongoing project improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct eligibility and risk profile checks for nominated services and providers.
  • Manage data entry and service record creation for the National Directory.
  • Communicate with service providers using standard templates and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Conduct desktop research to identify additional providers for outreach.
  • Coordinate delivery of project materials and support awareness-building activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data quality and process consistency.
About You

You are detail-oriented, organised, and thrive on contributing to meaningful projects. You bring initiative and a strong sense of responsibility, with experience in managing information accurately and effectively.

You will also have:

  • Experience with risk profiling frameworks or database management systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to build positive stakeholder relationships.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office and data management tools.
  • An understanding of cultural competency and respect for diverse communities.
Desirable:

  • Knowledge or experience in the family violence, social services, or community sector.
  • Experience in product or database development.
