Key Responsibilities
Fundraising Marketing and Communications (90%)
Meet agreed revenue and retention goals for the Individual Giving budget within agreed expenditure budgets, including but not limited to Stand With Her and monthly giving.
Work with the Head of Marketing & Communications and Fundraising & Global Communications Manager to deliver agreed targets and KPIs for each Individual Giving income stream.
Support the Digital Marketing Lead to create and deliver content for both website (including copywriting, page editing and design) and social media channels.
Support fundraising campaigns and projects throughout the year.
Develop copy for email, website, social media, print and advertising to both recruit new donors and inspire existing supporters.
Support delivery of a holistic digital fundraising strategy, including development of website pages and content creation for email and social media.
Deliver excellent supporter care for all Individual Giving donors, including management of our external email boxes to ensure timely response to queries, donor thanking and appreciation, and delivering engaging supporter journey communications to ensure high levels of customer service and maintain minimum levels of attrition.
Database Management (10%)
Processing Individual Giving donations from both online and offline sources.
Responsible for the creation of donor accounts, campaigns and tracking for Individual Givers.
Support monthly finance admin, compiling income data from various income streams.
Proactively manage the database to ensure that it is an effective tool for fundraising and supporter recruitment and retention.
Other
Be responsible for personal learning and development and participate in supervision, training, and meetings as required.
Flexibility to support the wider organisation as required.
Undertake any other duties appropriate to the post as may be required.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
A passion for global issues, women’s empowerment and human rights.
Passion for digital communications (email, website and social media) and stays up to date on newest trends and is excited about finding new creative ways of communicating.
Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal to engage and enthuse supporters and ensure the highest standard of supporter care.
Able to work independently as well as within a team.
Exceptional organisational skills. The ability to prioritise with impressive attention to detail and maintain accuracy when working on multiple projects and managing deadlines effectively.
Ability to build and manage successful relationships with a variety of stakeholders both internal and external.
Accountable team player, who can work across a multi-disciplinary team
Strong computer skills, including experience working with Word, Excel and databases. Experience of using image graphic creation systems - Canva.
