About Meza Yetu Collective
Meza Yetu is a feminist collective based in Nairobi, Kenya. We work at the intersection of evidence, narrative building, and creativity to challenge dominant narratives and imagine more just and equal futures. Through campaigns, digital platforms, and convenings, we document lived experiences, amplify feminist voices, and build solidarity across generations. Our projects include Unmothering the Woman and the Meza by Meza Yetu convenings, which are designed to inform, disrupt, and redefine how gender justice is understood and pursued.
As a young and growing collective, we value creativity, boldness, and care in everything we do. Meza Yetu is committed to decolonial practices, feminist principles, and centering the voices of those most affected by inequality.
