Politics4Her is a global youth-led feminist initiative amplifying women’s and girls’ voices in politics and beyond. Our Communications Team is the creative force behind our advocacy — designing campaigns, writing articles, managing social media, and ensuring our content sparks meaningful conversations.
We are looking for dedicated, passionate, and detail-oriented volunteers to join our Communications Team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in feminist communications, while contributing to a vibrant international platform.

At Politics4Her, we encourage creativity and growth. You don’t have to stick to one role only, volunteers can explore different areas of communications (writing, design, social media, video, newsletters) depending on their skills, interests, and availability. This allows team members to learn new skills, collaborate across tasks, and contribute wherever their strengths are most needed.
Content Creators
- Write blog posts, op-eds, and articles with an intersectional feminist lens.
- Research current issues and draft engaging captions tailored to different platforms.
- Ensure accuracy, fact-checking, and inclusive storytelling.
Graphic Designers
- Create visuals that align with our brand identity and color palette.
- Design quotes, infographics, and campaign materials using Canva (Adobe Suite is a plus).
- Ensure all visuals are accessible, inclusive, and engaging.
Social Media Managers
- Schedule and post content on Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
- Adapt content for each platform’s unique format.
- Foster dialogue by responding to comments/messages and collaborating with feminist organizations.
Video & Multimedia Editors
- Produce short videos, reels, and TikToks to creatively communicate feminist issues.
- Add captions/subtitles for accessibility.
- Explore trends to make content engaging while maintaining advocacy focus.
Newsletter & Web Editors
- Draft and edit monthly newsletters (internal and external) on Mailchimp.
- Update and optimize content on our website (Squarespace).
- Ensure consistency, clarity, and accessibility across all digital platforms.
Requirements & Skills
- Passion for feminism, intersectionality, and social justice.
- Strong writing, editing, and/or design skills (depending on role).
- Attention to detail: fact-checking, correct spelling of names, proofreading.
- Ability to commit 3–5 hours per week on a regular basis.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and trends.
- Willingness to learn, collaborate, and follow our Politics4Her Communications Guidelines.
