We are seeking five consultants with lived experience of human trafficking to serve as members of the Tech Against Trafficking (TAT) Consultation Group. As part of this pilot, consultants will contribute expertise to strengthen how technology companies prevent, disrupt, and reduce human trafficking, while also addressing misuse of technology.
Consultants will work in one or more of the following focus areas:

  • Online Trafficking Prevention and Mitigation

  • Technology, Data, and Innovation

  • Training and Capacity Building

Members of the Consultation Group will serve as steady points of contact on specific projects, provide trauma-informed expertise, and translate lived experience into practical steps companies can take. This includes attending orientation and group meetings, engaging with corporate teams, reviewing and co-creating materials, and providing feedback on policies, tools, and training.
Candidate Criteria:

  • Identify as a survivor of human trafficking or modern slavery (public disclosure not required)

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional or consulting experience in the anti-trafficking field

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to synthesize and clearly articulate ideas in English

  • Digital fluency (Zoom/Teams, Google Workspace, shared file management, secure internet practices)

  • Commitment to trauma-informed practice, confidentiality, and professional boundaries

  • Ability to manage deadlines in a pilot environment and contribute to iterative feedback and learning

This consultancy offers an opportunity to partner directly with some of the world’s leading technology companies, while contributing to the design of survivor-informed policies and practices in the tech sector.
